Style: HairPro + StainStriker + 7" Tool
Short version- buy it!! But know the tanks both clean and dirty water are small so frequent emptying required but still worth it. Long version- I have been researching vacuums for a while and luckily fell upon Vacuum Wars and The Stain Guide youtube channels. Both were so informative and really helped me decide the right machines (within my budget). Vacuum Wars goes into multiple different metrics of each vacuum and helps give pros and cons of each. And i followed The Stain Guide's process so it took more time than it would if you're just using the vacuum as directed but the results were great I am so happy! The Con here is really a known issue for Shark- small tanks as i mentioned above but it didn't deter me because the function and features compared to others were so much better. I also kinda like that they're smaller (when I'm not doing the whole house lol) I feel like I will be able to whip it out for small jobs without it being a whole ordeal. Also note, if there is alot of dirt/dust it does cause clumps when you switch from pushing forward (putting down water) to pulling back (drying). This only happend in one area where I wasn't as thorough vacuuming. That said the vacuum DID pick it up but you have to go over it slowly and in dry mode it helps more too. On a related note and shameless plug for my other shark vacuum I bought at the same time.... the Shark Stratos duoclean "regular" vacuum...WOW might be even more impressive than the wet vac. I vacuumed seriously like 6 times, it just kept pulling up dust/dirt, mind you, I had vacuumed 2 days before with my old dyson! I was shocked and grossed out honestly lol. They do say vacuuming the most important step so I made an unplanned investment on the Stratos and it was also so worth it and definitely made a difference....sorry back to the xpert... Things I love: How easy it is to use and how well it cleans! The suction is amazing. There is a dry only mode too so I went around after my deep clean and got almost a whole extra dirty bucket of water out. The attached hose makes it so easy its always ready to use and comes with a bunch of different heads. This model kicks the hose on like a normal vacuum when it goes into "parked" position and back into deep clean when tilted back. THEN theres a spot to clean the hose on the top of the vacuum which is so convenient. I honestly can't say enough good things so I'll stop this is already too long lol. I fail to see how anyone wouldn't love this unless the tank size really bother you. (P.s you can ask chatgpt your squarefootage with the Shark xpert and it'll break down your potential number of stops and time it'll take to complete the job with the accumulated stop time. 5 stars even with the tiny water tank. Got this over the other big name because I have a Shark vacuum and really love the quality parts and feel. No sharp edges, simple, easy clean, everything just fits together. Parts aren’t brittle. Good fit, feel and function. Figured the carpet shampooer would be similar in those areas and this shampooer does not disappoint. The worst part is the small water tanks. The clean water tank is small. The dirty water tank is also small and has a very low fill line. You will empty it much more often than some other models. I saw the reviews and bought anyway. More emptying and filling, but also lighter! I like it a LOT. Would buy again and would recommend to friends and family. LOVE the storage tray!!! ... show more

This thing has the best suction out there. The POS bissel pro heat I've used forever, and everyone claimed it worked sooo good, are dumb. It would never suck all the water out, and basically leave the carpet worse off. This thing will make your carpets look and smell new. The only complaint, the dirty water tank is as big as a big gulp from the store. Why? And sometimes the tank is only half full and will shut off until you empty it. I imagine they did this so when the newer models come out, they'll have an XL version ... show more

BEST VAC EVER! Where is 20 stars at?! Im a new tenant to a house that has carpet in 95% of the 780sqft 2bd 1 bath home except the kitchen and bathroom. When i did walk through and got keys there was a animal sour smell like urine. So I read reviews and youtubed it. Shop smart! The living room took 1 and quarter tanks of the cleaner and about 1/8 of the oxydizer. In the living room alone the dirt water tank was filled up and dark as can be. The hair that was buried in the carpets was deep. But this vac came and went above and beyond. It got the water up in one pass but i did 4 reverse passes to make sure I got it all and then some. The rooms smell amazing and then some! The carpets look amazing! In this house I suspect 4 cleaning and draining tanks to do the rooms and living room. But the way it cleaned was amazing! I could sleep on the floor! The cleaning this machine did was beyond what they sell! And im optimistic about carpet cleaners! And it was not heavy and bulky either, it was light weight and easy to maneuver. Id buy this 5x again. Can’t wait to use the attachments on my couch and other furniture! Well worth the bang for your buck! Here come monthly cleanings! My pets hair won’t stand a chance once we move in even though I vac 2x a week and have a robot vac in the house that works daily! ... show more

I would not purchase this again. I would have returned this had I not missed the return window. Both the clean and dirty water tanks are extremely small. I’m spending more time running back and forth to the sink than I am cleaning my carpets. If you’re just looking for a spot clean up, it works well enough. If you’re trying to shampoo the carpets in a room or your whole house, good luck. I can only shampoo appropriately 12 inches at a time before having to empty the dirty water tank. Clean water lasts for about 24”. I am going slow to get a good deep clean but still. Absolutely ridiculous. Not worth the money. Im running back and forth to the sink about every 60-90 seconds while operating with the water on. And the dry only mode isn’t nearly powerful enough. My carpets are left much wetter than they would be from any shampooer I have used previously. ... show more

I am happy that I purchased this machine. It cleans well and holds a decent amount of liquid. It is a little heavy but not extreme. It is very easy to use; I recommend you read the manual to understand all the functions properly. There is a good amount of suction.
