25Jul24 Update - I used it on my stairs. First I used my big Shop Vac to get at all possible loose dirt. Yes I balanced my large shop vac on the stairs as I vacuum each carpeted step. My shop vac suction is far greater than any standard vacuum so I figured okay it should not be that dirty with using the Little Green. I WAS WRONG! The little green worked great as the water was like brown sewage water. I was like wow that's a lot of dirt that was in the carpet fiber that my shop vac didn't get. I'm impressed. Now the only caution I would mention is that when on it is loud it was in the range of 87-88 decibels to which 80 is considered loud noise. Because in use you are as close to it I would suggest ear plugs. Keep in mind that typical upright vacuum cleaners are also in that range as well but you are closer to the little green as you are using the hand held brush head. There is also an attachment called hydro rinse that works well to rinse clean the machine hose etc after using the machine. That works great and helps clean the machine for your next use. I like that they have this. Overall I'm happy with this replacement unit and is working great. 24Jul24 Update - I received the replacement unit but it did also remind me that the hatprevious unit that I received not only had the crimped hose but that it also had water droplets in the tank. So was that a repackaged one that I originally received? Cause the replacement one is a different box and it's tanks are dry. Will update you on how it works on my carpeted stairs. Original Review - I needed it to work on cat pee stains in the carpet and bed mattress. But.....it came with a crimped hose that was bent on how they had it in the box. Didn't really think anything about it but in use it resulted in poor performance. So what happens with the bent hose is that at that bent it starts to suction close on itself so there is little to no suction at the head. That was so terrible. So sending it back for replacement. Bissell folks please relook on how everything is packed in the box cause it is causing this bent/crimped hose. Or make the box bigger so this doesn't happen in the way it's packed. Otherwise will update how it works when zI get the replacement. I havealso the traditional Bissell carpet cleaner which I love so I want this portable to supplement or use instead of the big carpet cleaner unit when I only want to spot clean for cat pee, etc. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My living room smells great since I cleaned the couch and carpets. The normal attachment works amazingly well. Doesn’t take too long to dry if you use it right. Stains gone so fast that have been there a while. Easy to use and figure out and so fast. Doesn’t take up a lot of storage room. I can’t throw my grandmas circles rug in the washer anymore so this did pretty dang good. The pet attachment doesn’t work well. It sprays everywhere and seems clogged but it was brand new. Not happy about that because I paid extra for that but it is what it is. That’s a risk when buying online. I don’t want to send it back because I still want to clean so much and at least I have the normal attachment ... show more

I have an older cat who has been vomiting a lot, so I purchased this to help with clean up. It is so perfect! Super easy to assemble and use you can tell this machine gets into the carpet and furniture fibers to get into any mess. The pet formula liquid smells great and dries pretty fast. The suction of the machine does a great job at pulling out all of the mess. If you have animals at home, I would say this is absolutely worth your money and your time! ... show more

    • Multi-use Must Have!!!

TLDR: Amazing Machine. If the stain is super deep/old, it might need pretreatment/prescrubbing first. This machine rocks! For context, I bought it because my husband has a couch that predates me. It's comfortable and we don't want to throw it out.. but it's gross. I refused to sit on it without a sheet and blanket. I'd used the Little Green Machine before so I knew this would do the trick! I prescrubbed with a custom cleaning mix of mine and then used the machine, I scrubbed two more times between using the machine. One cushion made the canister full with Hershey's chocolate brown sludge. I'm very grateful for being able to feel clean and confident when relaxing. I have some tips that may help new users. Tip 1: I prescrub with a mix of a small bit of Dawn, White Vinegar, Gain, Zote soap, Oxiclean and Water. This may not be to everyone's liking. Vinegar and water alone can do a very decent job. Tip 2: Baking soda before vacuuming the area helps it smell so nice! Just make sure to get it all up before using the extractor. Tip 3: You can put the treated item in direct sunlight to dry/sanitize. It can also be sanitized by spraying a little Woolite or Odoban. These are not hard rules, just suggestions. Tip 4: Do not blame the machine if you don't know how to use it correctly. There are plenty of videos on YT for tutorials. Give it a try, it's well worth it! ... show more

Worked surprisingly well. I wish it came with the six inch stair tool. I used the smaller 3 inch tool included with the cleaner but have now purchased the larger attachment.
