I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tested the Little Green on multiple types of stains on various fabrics/carpets, and it has not disappointed. So far, I've had 100% success cleaning up cat vomit, dog bile, and mud. These stains were cleaned off a wool throw rug, nylon/polyester blend carpet, and polyester upholstery, respectively. I used the provided Bissel Spot & Stain Febreeze solution and didn't find it to have an overwhelming scent. Pros: - It works which is the biggest thing for me! Plus, a couple of these stains, like the cat vomit one on the living room wool rug, had been there for months and nothing I tried would get it out. - The machine is relatively light to carry around and is compact to stow away when finished. - I liked that the electrical cord was very long which made it easy to use in rooms with only a few outlets. - Any animal lover will know that no matter how much vacuuming you do, there's always going to be some stray hairs left behind. I'm pleasantly surprised that the Little Green has yet to get clogged while I've been cleaning. I always wash the pieces after each use, but it seems like my Lab's hair could clog anything. But, not Little Green! Cons: - I wish I could remove the hose completely to clean it, but the parts that can be removed to clean are easy to do so. - When you load up the water-solution mixture into its tub and turn it upside down to install it into the machine, it does leak a little bit. Once it's in the machine, it doesn't continue leaking but it did catch me off guard the first time I used it thinking I did something wrong. - I wish the instructions told me how best to use each of the attachments. It tells you how to install them, but I had to search online for more guidance on appropriate usage. Overall, the cons are very small things compared to the pros. Especially if you have animals (or children), I would highly recommend this little guy. I've been telling family and friends about it ever since I got mine! ... show more

I have 3 kids, a dog and carpeted floors... I had been looking at this machine for a while but didn't end up buying it until I spent a hour trying to clean a large amount of vomit out of the carpet in my son's room. The smell was so bad I decided to finally get it and I'm so glad I did! This thing is AMAZING! And it's already paid for itself, I've had it less than a month and have used it 4 times now. Twice in different areas where my kids got sick, pulled up everything from the carpet. If I put my face near where it was now it smells nice and not like puke! Used it once on my area rug where our dog had a diarrhea accident... My husband wanted to throw the rug out but I tried this on it and it looks brand new now, you would never know our dog had a accident on it. The fourth time I've used it so far was on a chocolate shake spill stain from about 6 months ago. I didn't think it was going to work since it was a old spill but I decided to try it and it worked! The stain completely gone! I also really love that it comes with a attachment to clean the hose by itself too. The machine was easy for me to use and easy to clean. It's a little loud when using it but it does a amazing job cleaning! I can't recommend it enough, wish I would of bought it sooner. I had wanted the Bissell Little Green for the longest time. If you have pets or children, a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner like this can come in very handy. One of my cats unfortunately peed on my couch, and I thought it might be the end of the line for it since it is a power recliner with non removable cushions. I picked this up as a last resort, and honestly also as an excuse to finally buy one. I debated between the plug in and cordless versions, but ultimately chose the corded model because it has almost twice the suction power. At first I thought the suction felt a bit weak, but once I saw the liquid it was pulling up I was very impressed. During the passes I could literally see yellowish liquid being extracted. It was gross and satisfying at the same time. I was also surprised by how brown and dirty the recovered water was. This machine is tiny but mighty. Weighing around 7 pounds, the Little Green is light and easy to carry around the house. It is also a bit quieter than a traditional vacuum. Cleanup is straightforward. You simply remove the dirty water tank and rinse it out. The vacuum head attachment rinses easily as well. For the hose, you can use the self cleaning tool by pressing the nozzle and running water through it for about 30 seconds. There are still some lingering smells, but based on the color of the extracted water it clearly did a lot of work. I just need to do a few more cleaning sessions on my couch. I am glad I finally bit the bullet and gave the Little Green a try. This adorable little machine may have saved me hundreds of dollars compared to hiring a professional cleaner or replacing my couch. Overall, I would absolutely recommend it for pet owners and anyone who needs a reliable upholstery and spot cleaner. ... show more
