I never expected that result with a non-professional carpet cleaner. It cleaned huge pet stains that were 6 months old! So easy to assemble, use and clean. Very smooth feeling. Awesome cleaning products too, very efficient (I used a little bit of both and added them to the hot water). Dries in 30mn (but make sure not to add too much water and also to vacuum the wet parts several times to maximise efficiency). It was easier to use the carpet cleaner than to vacuum :) However it is very important to vacuum before cleaning the carpet. Excellent investment. 1 fill per room (average). ... show more

Bought this for small area rugs. Works great, although the reservoir could be a bit larger. Light weight and easy to handle, especially when having to bring upstairs. Does an excellent job cleaning food and dog stains that the spray cleaners can't handle. This is not for large rugs but easily handles two 8X10 or one 13X16 rugs. ... show more

Wow! What a great machine! First let me say, super easy to use, easy to put together and very light weight. 4 stars because the water tanks aren't very big so you have to refill and dump often, but the power this bad boy uses makes up for it. I vacuumed carpets before using the carpet cleaner and it still picked up hair and things that I guess my shark vacuum missed. The quality is a 5 star, and so is the out come. I haven't had my carpets cleaned in about 3 years " I know, gross", but now, I can clean them anytime. And I love the attachment as well. Very handy for furniture or small spots that need a quick scrub. My house smells so fresh. Such a great product for a very reasonable price. And no leaks. Left the carpet looking great! This cleaner was easy to put together within a couple of minutes. It holds quite a bit of water which is nice for larger rooms. It is easy to clean after use. The machine is not very heavy and easy to carry up stairs. It comes with the attachments for stairs and upholstery. This is as good as the vacuum! It not only get up stains but picks up sand and dirt that maybe left behind depending on your vacuum ( get a Bissell). Easy to put together, easy to clean, and carpet dries with in 30 to 45 minutes. I love it and the brand!

Want a carpet cleaner that gets out dirt, coffee, pet stains, and more? Look no further. This is the gal you want right here. Please be sure to read the instructions. Vaccum the stain first, if it's DRY. This picks up loose debris if you spill coffee grounds. And then use the Bissell. If your cleaning up a pet stain, use the pet cleaner that will get the smell out. Helps with stains. Bissell sells the jugs small and large and extra large of all their cleaning flavors. You want the one that says pet on it. Again, read and follow the directions. Super simple. Do not use another brands cleaning sauce in these machines. Just get Bissell. Otherwise you can damage or break the machine. I bought this same machine years ago, and loved it. House full of kids cats and a dog. Worked amazing. Public service announcement. Do not use carpet smell away sprinkles on your carpet and then vaccum it up. This kills your vaccum cleaner. Baking soda carpet sprinkles are not good for your machines. This Bissell rocks though. I bought one for my mom, because she has pets too. This works pretty knarly on floating carpets, like throw rugs, as long as the pile isn't too high. But it also! Comes with a wand. Guys... if you've never cleaned your furniture with a Bissell, I highly reccomend. Wow. The results are incredible. So get this one. It's cost effective, worth the money, easy to use. Follow the directions. Use the Bissell sauce. And ALWAYS clean the machine afterwards. Directions are in the manual. Again, simple and pain free. ... show more

First off, I love Bissell. I do have other brands like Roomba and Dyson for vacuum cleaners, but all my carpet/mops are Bissell. I had a Bissell power lifter for 7 years before it broke - I got every penny worth out of it. I have a Bissell Green machine too for spot cleaning. So I went for another Bissell product for shampooing the carpets. It does work really well, I was just using water with 2 cap fulls of solution (much less than recommended) and it was pulling up stains completely. Impressive! It's light weight. The tanks are easy to rinse and clean. The roller doesn't catch much hair on it. On to the annoying parts. The dirty tank is soo small. It looks big in the picture, but only can be filled maybe 1/3 of the way.. possibly closer to 1/4. I'm dumping it every 4 minutes. It doesn't seem to suck up much water unless you're holding the trigger down releasing the fluid — which makes me think it's just sucking up the fluid as I release it considering how fast it sucks that water up vs if I'm just passing over the carpet trying to suck up water. Also, the placement of the on/off switch is really annoying. It's a switch on the handle very close to the bottom.. why not put it on the top or make it a floor switch. Bottom line it cleans fairly well for the price, BUT that tank is a huge flaw. ... show more
