Wow! What a great machine! First let me say, super easy to use, easy to put together and very light weight. 4 stars because the water tanks aren't very big so you have to refill and dump often, but the power this bad boy uses makes up for it. I vacuumed carpets before using the carpet cleaner and it still picked up hair and things that I guess my shark vacuum missed. The quality is a 5 star, and so is the out come. I haven't had my carpets cleaned in about 3 years " I know, gross", but now, I can clean them anytime. And I love the attachment as well. Very handy for furniture or small spots that need a quick scrub. My house smells so fresh. Such a great product for a very reasonable price. And no leaks. I highly highly recommend this product. I have 3 children, one of which is 16 months old and spills her snacks everywhere, not to mention all the leaky cups that contain milk. We usually rent a carpet cleaner from our local store every couple months and it cost around $100 after everything is all said and done, to only use it for 24 hours. THIS ONE specifically also has a wand to do furniture as well. Which is what sold me, not to mention the price. I paid $140 to be able to clean my carpets whenever I want. The clean water tank is small, so you do have to fill it a few times to get 1 room done. As well as dirty water, a couple empties. But its honestly not that big of a deal. It's very easy to clean when you're done using it also. The spray and suction are strong, and its relatively quiet compared to others I've used. It's also small and easy to store, which does make you have to do more passes to get the floors done. It also has little tips printed right on the machine to help you maintain the best outcome. For instance it says on the dirty tank "if motor sound changes or suction gets weak, empty dirty tank before cleaning further". Which i found super helpful and that did in fact happen to me, and as someone who doesn't FULLY read the user guide, it was nice to have that staring right at me when it happened lol. I will say, get some pre-carpet clean stain spray, let it soak, and take a scrub brush to it for a couple seconds to get the best results (if you have bad stains or food or anything stuck in the carpet. ... show more

Left the carpet looking great! This cleaner was easy to put together within a couple of minutes. It holds quite a bit of water which is nice for larger rooms. It is easy to clean after use. The machine is not very heavy and easy to carry up stairs. It comes with the attachments for stairs and upholstery. Yes, the tank is pretty small, but this thing is so crazy powerful that you only need to make like 2 passes over an area instead of 5+ with other cleaners I've had. So I don't mind having to empty and refill as needed. Yes, it's kinda heavy to push around. But that's a good thing! The weight gives it the amazing suction to the floor to pull up stuff you didn't even know was in there (yucky stuff!) Story time: So about 2 years ago my 5 year old spilled a full jar of mica powder and fine glitter all over her floor. Mess of the century! Vacuum didn't get it. My pervious carpet machine couldn't get it, and the pro carpet cleaning company couldn't get it all either. 2 years later, vacuuming regularly and cleaning with the old machine, and I could still see color and fine glitter. Then I bought this small but mighty thing. After one run, my tank was full of color and glitter! The spot is 100% gone and I'm thrilled. First off, I love Bissell. I do have other brands like Roomba and Dyson for vacuum cleaners, but all my carpet/mops are Bissell. I had a Bissell power lifter for 7 years before it broke - I got every penny worth out of it. I have a Bissell Green machine too for spot cleaning. So I went for another Bissell product for shampooing the carpets. It does work really well, I was just using water with 2 cap fulls of solution (much less than recommended) and it was pulling up stains completely. Impressive! It's light weight. The tanks are easy to rinse and clean. The roller doesn't catch much hair on it. On to the annoying parts. The dirty tank is soo small. It looks big in the picture, but only can be filled maybe 1/3 of the way.. possibly closer to 1/4. I'm dumping it every 4 minutes. It doesn't seem to suck up much water unless you're holding the trigger down releasing the fluid — which makes me think it's just sucking up the fluid as I release it considering how fast it sucks that water up vs if I'm just passing over the carpet trying to suck up water. Also, the placement of the on/off switch is really annoying. It's a switch on the handle very close to the bottom.. why not put it on the top or make it a floor switch. Bottom line it cleans fairly well for the price, BUT that tank is a huge flaw. ... show more
