  • Comfortable -- you get what you pay for!
Size: 11 Color: Khaki
Don't love or hate them -- for $50-60, you get what you pay for. I gave 3 stars bc the name of the boot is "waterproof", it should say water resistant. Without waterproofing these boots they held up waterproof for the most part for 3 months (I am a landscaper; walking through tall, wet grass every morning in PA throughout the year). I would NEVER go through puddles with these boots -- not practical. However, they're super comfortable & lasted as long as I expected waterproof & durable wise. If you want waterproof you need to TLC these boots (spraying protective waterproofing), or get a more expensive brand. Because I beat boots to death in this job, some pairs are worth spending much less (most "quality" boots can be expensive $150-200). I prefer to beat boots to death in 12hr days 6 days a week, then going for a new pair after 8-12months -- otherwise you have stinky boots after 1st year or so. ... show more

  • Falling apart after 1 month.
Size: 11 Color: Khaki
They look great, feel good, and are nice and warm. However, after 3 weeks of wearing them to work they are already falling apart.

  • Decent, but pricey
Size: 11 Color: Grey
I searched for weeks. Most waterproof/snow boots are ugly. Finally found these. Had them for about two months. I'll give you some pros and cons. Pros: I normally wear 10.5-11. These are right around the proper fit front to back. Water proofing is great. No weird squeaking. Decent grip in snow and ice. Cons: Color is not gray, they are blue. Fit is a bit wide, 4th grommet on both shoes are showing signs of lossening. ... show more

  • Look out for breaking laces!
Size: 12 Color: Khaki
I gave this a low rating to get your attention. I purchased these boots Dec 19, 2017. They fit true size and are very comfortable. They are warm in cold weather and waterproof. They look good. So why the bad rating? The laces break easily. I had them for about 6 weeks when the first lace broke on the right boot. A week later, a lace broke on the left boot. It appears the unique metal eyelets are cutting the laces. I purchase Heavy Duty Kevlar Reinforced Boot Laces Shoelaces and the lasted about 8 weeks. Either I got a bad set of shoes, or there is something fundamentally wrong with the design. I have emailed skechers about this issue and am waiting to hear back from them. While I love the boots, having to purchase new laces every few weeks defeats their purpose. Maybe I just got a lemon pair. Hopefully Skechers will do the right thing and exchange the boots. ... show more

  • This woman LOVESLOVES these boots!!!
Size: 8 Color: Khaki
I run a donkey sanctuary and am on my feet all day. I have plantar fasciitis and have tried many, more expensive brands. As a woman, finding boots that have a wider toe box and waterproof and comfortable without spending a small fortune is near impossible. These boots are so comfortable and have allowed me to feel good for my 12+ hour days. Really, you can't go wrong with Skechers! I wish I had thought of this brand sooner as I would have saved myself a lot of money. I've been wearing these for over a month and they still feel awesome. I wear a woman's size 9 and got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. ... show more

  • I friggen love these things
Size: 14 Color: Grey
I friggen love these things. We got some snow here in Mississippi and it’s always wet muddy snow and these boots were awesome. We got 7” and my feet stayed warm and dry. They are very comfortable too. They aren’t not slip on indoor floors though, but I didn’t buy them for the indoors so harm no fowl. A+ boots. Worth $60. Size was pretty accurate too. ... show more

  • Extra wide is not even close
Size: 10 Wide Color: Khaki
I've owned a dozen Skechers wide-width shoes over the last few years and they are among the most comfortable I've ever owned. Things started downhill when they began using memory foam insoles. At least they could be removed and replaced with something more comfortable. Skechers wide shoes typically have nice wide toe boxes that don't squeeze my toes. These "extra wide" hikers are ridiculously narrow, and don't seem to be even as wide as medium width. They look nice, but are extremely uncomfortable, squeezing the side of my feet and pinching my toes. I am very surprised and disappointed with Skechers. ... show more

  • Love the brand, hate the boot
Size: 10.5 Wide Color: Khaki
We've been buying Skechers sneakers for our kids for years and have always been happy with them. In fact, I was buying a new pair of Skechers for my son, when I decided to try them out for myself. I bought a pair of Skechers casual shoes (which I'm still happy with), and since I was in need of a new pair of hiking boots, thought I would try those as well. At first I was pleased, despite the lack of convenient features I was used to in other hiking boots I had worn in the past (like lace anchors). The boots had the expected Skechers comfort and seemed well made. However, within a short time I started having problems with them. I hike about 3.5 miles per day on pretty much the same trail, in what I would say is medium-rough terrain--certainly nothing extreme. By the 5th or 6th hike, one of the boots had literally started coming apart at the seams (well, one seam anyway). I chalked it up to an accident, thinking that maybe I had snagged it on a sharp rock outcropping. But then within a couple of months the other problems started. The lace hooks started breaking off (one pulled out completely, and another broke off in mid-hook) and the casing of the laces themselves started coming right off. I can honestly say that I've never had a less durable pair of hiking boots, and I'm very disappointed that a brand as reputable as Skechers could put out such a poor-quality product. I will probably continue buying Skechers kids' sneakers, but will definitely never buy another pair of Skechers hiking boots. Overall, the comfort of these shoes is great, but they are not at all durable and I would not recommend them to anyone. ... show more
