This bissell, vacuum cleaner for dog beds is the best. I have tried many! Always disappointed with the results. It’s very seldom when you buy something and it delivers everything it claims. This hand held vacuum cleaner literally erases the dog hair on the beds. It works like a Dyson. It’s a well-made product has some weight to it. Easy to use, no loud noise. I was a little hesitant because it used a battery. It has a long battery life. Once I charged it, no problem and I vacuumed two big dog beds with bolsters and it cleans them with no problem so that is not an issue. Easy to clean filter. I made the mistake of previously purchasing the insanely expensive Dyson handheld... which promptly died in a few months, was replaced, died again and then fell out of warranty. The reason I went with the Dyson originally was that having a powered rotating brush was important to me as the air rotated brushes are generally useless. I also wanted something light, cordless and easy to use. I wish I'd found this little vac first. For me a little vac like this is for cleaning up quick messes, cleaning my stairs, and vacuuming my furniture. This vac does all that, easily, on a single charge. It's powerful and lasts a long while - I haven't timed it but I think 20 or so minutes with the brush in use. My only complaint is that I wish it had a removable battery. The battery is built in, which means when the battery dies (which it will in a couple years) the vac becomes useless. Luckily, it's cheap enough that I won't mind having to replace it considering it's 1/4 of the price of the next best option. I've seen a few bad reviews concerning the battery going dead immediately on first use. This is just chance... a certain amount of batteries will have issues; this goes for anything you buy with a battery. If it works it will continue to work. If it goes bad immediately, that's just how it goes and you can exchange it. Don't judge things based on that battery criteria... Also keep in mind like any other battery you should not keep it plugged in all the time. ... show more

Read quite a few reviews..seems like some are either 1 star or 5, so I was thinking why that might be? I've had mine now for a little over a week and it's a great little vacuum. Picks up pet hair nicely, but it doesn't have a lithium battery where you can charge it in the car, so if your vehicle is really dirty, I'd say no. But if you're using it for light everyday cleanup, then yes, it sucks up very nicely. My first mistake was that I thought I had pushed the plug into the vacuum far enough, but apparently I didn't. The red light was still on when I went back to check on it. So make sure you really push the charger into the unit so it charges well. Great for floor spills, bathroom powder oops, back of hair dryers, in between fridge and counters, really just about anything. If the stairs are your main goal here, I'd use it to vacuum what you can, then use the crevice tool or the fuzz tool to get near the back of the stairs. A little extra time and tenderness is all that is required. Some things just aren't easy no matter how you try. I love mine and the suction is great! Would recommend to a friend! Works pretty well but the battery life is not great. It only last for about 10 minutes on a full charge which i guess is fine for cleaning small areas at it is intended for.

Bought this because two car owners in household said the one we had (6 years) didn't take up the sand, dirt, leaves,etc when cleaning out their cars. No complaints with this new Bissell...and bonus is vacuuming black cat hair from sofa...easy.

I purchased this Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Hand Vacuum in mid-January 2025. I have one medium-sized dog and two cats. I bought this hand vac for my wood stairs and to catch the occasional furry tumbleweed in between the regular 2x/week vacuuming of the house with my upright Oreck (which I can't recommend highly enough -- still going strong after 25+ years). After two months, I started having issues with this Bissell hand vacuum not maintaining power. It would run maybe 10 seconds and then you would start to hear it slowly lose steam and die. Press the button again, it powered up for a few seconds, then died again. Mind you, I only used this maybe once or twice a week, for no more than 5-10 minutes each time, and would empty it and clean the filter after each use. I contacted customer service, they had me send a video showing the problem, and within a few days a replacement vacuum was in the mail to me. Great! I charged the new vacuum per the instructions and this time AFTER JUST ONE USE (!) I'm having the exact same problem with the replacement. The vacuum won't maintain power. This time I'm done. I'm not even going to attempt to contact customer service. Instead I'll chalk it up to a bad product and check out similar items from other brands. I must admit it's a bummer. I've had positive experiences with Bissell products up until now, but this vacuum is a total dud. ... show more

I’ve had this vacuum for about 2 years. Purchased from retail store. Battery died so I figured I’d buy another. Received from Amazon yesterday and opened today. I noticed the box was not factory sealed right away. Opened it and the unit clearly was a return as none of the plastic and styrofoam was packaged correctly or sealed. That may be I could live with however it was missing two of the three attachments. I loved my old unit and wished the batteries could be replaced and if so cost less than the vacuum itself or I would have just purchased the replacement battery. I purchase a lot from Amazon and have had to return 3 different items this year so far for a replacement. Either came broken, broken and discolored (edible item), stopped working after 2 minutes of use, and now this opened box missing included items. You may ask why 3 returns but 4 different issues. One of the replacements also arrived damaged. If I were to review this vacuum I’d give it 4 stars. Could have a little better battery life and suction. The attachment with roller brush is great for pulling dog hair out of fabric furniture. I had 3 now 2 :( short hair dogs ( Pit Bulls and Bull Terrier) and those out there with these dogs know how this hair gets imbedded into everything. Vacuum works wonders however could run out of battery life before you finish. Very disappointed with Amazon in general lately which is why 3 stars. Maybe if that congresswoman didn’t turn down the Amazon deal in NY, the service could possibly have improved. :) ... show more
