However the packaging is designed for the purpose of one time use. It no longer comes with a storage bottle for the developer mix, the developer mix now comes in a foil packet without a way to reseal for later use. It needs to be advertised as one time usage. I only require a little usage for my hair coloring, so the rest goes to waste.

So I ordered this for my wife and she said it lasts a little over 2 weeks. She has jet black hair and the N1 blended in flawlessly. She said she appreciates the easy cleanup, and mixing bottle. The packaging is a bit over the top fancy with each item individually wrapped. She says the color over two week and a few days, and she did use the included shampoo and conditioner, but she also has more from a a regular store, so that was not a problem to have a sample size. If it could be packed in a smaller box not individually wrapped, and then the price could come down by a bit more I believe. Overall this set is a pretty big value, because she gets 4 uses from each set. Update: 10/12/2021: So my wife kept the color in for a little over 45 minutes and no fading or issue for 2 weeks so far. Also she recommends that the kit include a application brush. She doesn't have a ton of white hair so she gets about 4 uses from each set. I've also updated the stars to reflect that.

Tried this out myself, without help, largely because my almost entirely-gray hair disappears from the background in Zoom meetings and makes it look like I've shaved my head. And just because why not have my old black hair back again for a month or so? So, since my hair is pretty short, I mixed half an ounce of each product together...little enough that I could do this four times if I want, and more than enough to cover my hair for the required half hour. Everything worked well, and my hair is now my original black. The gray is thoroughly covered and there's no unnatural tint, nor can you tell where my hair was still black and where it was gray. I didn't have any irritation or discomfort, and had no allergic response. My hair is soft and feels more like my old black soft hair than my frizzy gray hair. Overall, I'm very pleased.
