Great news!!!! YOU can have a huge umbrella for a fraction of the price! Bad news it creaks like crazy. We live in a particularly windy area that always has a breeze if not full on gusts most days. I didn’t realize that umbrellas could creak because I’ve always had a wood pagoda umbrella from pier1 until this one. I think it is the plastic hinges that creak. I’m NOT complaining about the sturdiness of the umbrella it has withstood a lot of wind! I have been pleasantly surprised. When it does get gusty we get a good amount of squeaking from all the hinges, we just put it down rather than listen to it unfortunately. HOWEVER I started by falling in love with the cantilever umbrella at Costco that was like $900 this is a far cry from that price! if you are like me and looking for the right price oh boy have you found your match! Easy to set it up…I did it as soon as it arrived, before my husband got home, because I couldn’t wait! I thought we would drill it into our concrete but we ended up getting some weights that we filled with water to make sure we are happy with the location first and see how it hold up which it gets an A++ for…. obviously we do not leave it up when we are not outside because we get a lot of wind…..We have had it for two months and used it everyday. The solar lights work great but they are a true white not warm white.

With the appropriate base, this umbrella has withstood wind and elements thus far. Item was as described and functioning well. Easy to assemble Durable Easy to open and close Costs relatively the same as other products (far less expensive than Lowes or Home Depot) The only issue that I think exists with the design is the location of the LED light switch, which is at the far end of the umbrella, rather than near the middle, but it’s not a complete deal breaker. Otherwise, this umbrella is doing everything that it was purchased to do, and it looks nice. I recommend this product to anyone considering an LED Cantilever or offset umbrella.

Really happy with this umbrella purchase. Cantilevered and it spins. Also bought the four-piece weights for the stand which you’ll need if you get any wind at all. Their ad says they can be filled with sand. However, the holes are about the size of what you would see on a watering can so there’s no way you’re going to get sand in there. I filled mine with water. This is a very sturdy, well-made umbrella, and a fraction of the cost of retail.

The umbrella was overall easy to put together, took about 10 minutes with 2 people including setting up the base that we bought separately. We have had it about a month now in strong sun and heat and it seems to hold up well. The handle and crank do not get too hot to touch in the sun. When open, It sways a little more than I would like even in light wind. The lights are a cool white- I think they would look better with a warm white for a more natural outdoor vibe. Overall really great for the price!

This umbrella was super simple to assemble. It’s very windy where we have it, and it is very steady! Only downfall, is that the weighted stand we already had from a broken umbrella, doesn’t fit this stand. So make sure if you need weights, you research what to order so that it will fit.

This is a very well-constructed umbrella and highly useful for providing additional shade. It folds up easily in the event of wind storms. Be careful to read the fine print concerning the need for a weighted base, in the event that you do not want to fasten it down to a deck or other surface. The foot lever model is highly recommended to easily position this umbrella.

It looks pretty good and does a lot. This is the burgundy color which still looks bright red. It’s a nice color in general. It has the 5 things I was looking for. It can rotate (very useful to cover multiple areas or to follow the sun), it can tilt, it has solar lights, does not need a lot of space behind it to operate the tilt mechanism (most others have a handle that sticks our far) and was budget friendly compared to others on the market with these factors in mind. A few things that make it feel like a budget umbrella are the fabric covering. It’s not a thick fabric it will stretch over time and since it’s thin I am concerned about how long it will last before the sun dries it up and it begins to tare. It also has some sway or play in how the parts fit together so the umbrella moves in a light breeze. Not concerned it will fly away - the base that you purchase separately will keep it planted to the ground but the tolerances of how things fit together allow some side to side movement in the umbrella support arm. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning as it’s probably one of the reasons this umbrella is priced the way it is. Overall it’s worth a shot if you are on a budget and want a versatile fairly good looking umbrella. Just don’t expect it to last like a $650+ umbrella should. If I get two summer seasons out of it I’ll be happy.
