I had little clocks that were bright across the room. But still, small. Just couldn't find anything I liked (that I cared to afford) that was big enough and bright enough. I wanted a large clock like the big round school clock in my kitchen. DUH! Get a big round school clock. So it doesn't look cool. Good looking clock - easy to read from a distance. I bought a 2 pack and 5 days after the return window one of them has quit working. It runs for a few minutes and just stops. The other one is working great. I would give the product a 2.5 but can not do that so I will round up to a 3
