I bought one of these, perhaps expecting to return it because of the reviews...but it worked wonderfully! I have always been a fan of the Wondercide products and this did a great job catching the gnats that were coming in at night. We try to keep the windows open for air flow, but the darn gnats we get this time of year are attracted to all the light indoors and they make it through the screen. The light and the sticky card did the trick. I will say - this is made with good quality plastic, but it is item on the pricey side. I would reasonably pay $9-$12 for this product, but $18 seems a bit too high. Also, I think the cartridge starter box should come with two cards, not just one. And the refill card pack is a bit expensive, even for the large pack. They would do well to find a better price point.

Purchased it because we were having a cookout/pool party and I was concerned about flying insects getting in the house that evening. Generally we don't have issues with bugs inside the house so I did not have insects caught on the adhesive which was not a big deal but it was nice that I also didn't have anyrhing flying around inside the house, so that's not to say that the product doesn't work. I do love the light that it emits and again I don't have anything flying around in the house so the unit in all fairness hasn't had an opportunity to trap anything because there's nothing to catch. Very comfortable with my purchase and would not have a problem buying again if needed.

Didn’t do much for my problem. In the first 72 hours it caught like two flies. We have issues with the small fruit flies in our kitchen, and they don’t seem to care much for the light.

Works well! Read the directions for placement!! Mosquitos always seem to end up in my bathroom, so it doubles as a bathroom night light. It's not too bright for a night lite, which I like! Wondercide & Stem refill inserts seem interchangeable. Note for manufacturer: Now, please make compostable inserts!! Less disposable plastic, please!!

The “catcher” has only been plugged in for 4 days but it’s already caught stuff that was probably biting me at night. No new bites since it’s been plugged in. I put it in master bedroom, by door, about 15 feet from bed. I was tired of waking up to new bites on my shoulders, chest, arms and legs when I’m not under covers. Of course my husband gets zero bites. I didn’t want to use chemicals or hear zapping. By having it at door, my hope is that if the critters come down the hallway, they stop at this catcher (which is also a good night light) and not come towards bed. I put 4 stars as I was hoping to catch more, but definitely working so far (see pic)

I love everything by this company and this trap is no exception. I live along the Mississippi River, ride horses, and have a small dog that attracts ticks like bees to honey. We have ALOT of flying insects here, and year after year, nothing really beats both the protection and low toxicity of their products.
