I gave up writing reviews since amaz0n seems to block overly-critical reviews from being published. But this review is a very positive one, so I'll try one last time to write a review. The most significant thing that continues to impress me about this brand is that if you manage to break one, little fragments of glass stay with the protector, rather than fly everywhere (which has been my experience with many other brands over the years). This protector appears to be laminated on both sides, which would explain why broken glass stays with the protector. So, I managed to drop my ipad from about 3.5 feet up and it landed face down right onto a hard tile floor. I had/have a case on it, but the cover was also fully open. The case took some of the hit as well. A screen protector alone is not sufficient unless you are only looking to keep potential scratches off of your device's screen. This protector actually did a great job preventing scratches as well and it was on the ipad about 2.5 years...yes, it removed very cleanly too. No residue. But remember, the screen protector really is meant to try and spread the force of an impact over a wider area so that the device's actual screen stands a chance of not being damaged, or at least not suffering as much damage. Aside from those things, this protector hasn't impaired the screen's sensitivity either. Apple pencil works fine through it. Unfortunately, it does show fingerprints easily enough. But despite that being annoying, I'll take that over increasing the possibility of destroying my ipad's screen by not using this screen protector and a decent case. You'll want to remember that there may be really unlucky times when your ipad (or whatever device) falls in a way that nothing would stand a fair chance of protecting it. With that, if you do end up with a cracked screen, then as long as no glass is missing, I would still put one of these protectors over it and hopefully that will keep your device in service a bit longer. Tips for removal. 1) When I cleaned up the old protector, I first put a piece of packing tape over the cracked area of the protector. 2) I put on some nitrile gloves. 3) I put the entire device inside a garbage bag while I very slowly pulled it off the screen, all the while hoping that the actual screen was safe. 4) As an extra measure of caution, I still vacuumed down my ipad before applying the new protector. Tips for installation. I'm sure these have been mentioned many times before, but I will let the hot water run in a bathroom and then when it's humid, that's when I'll apply the screen protector. Static is strongest in low humidity, so by increasing the humidity, you decrease static and thereby more or less eliminate particles of dust getting stuck under the new protector. You still need to clean the screen very well. I also recommend turning off the device first, because if the screen turns on, it prevents you from seeing any dirt or dust. Bright lighting also helps since you'll see the screen better and whether you missed any potential dust. I don't bother with the "hinge tape" pieces. I just make sure my hands are washed thoroughly with soap and completely dry first. I only hold the protector by the edges and then align the protector visually. I have found that as long as only part of the protector has attached to the screen, then if it's not straight, you should be able to very, very, very slowly lift it up and adjust it slightly. You may end up accidentally breaking the new protector though, if you're not careful or if the planets happen to align in a certain way. The hinges just have never worked for me. But overall and after having tried many brands, I'll say that I like the JETech ones the best. So I'd say, go with these. Don't waste your time looking at other brands and get on with your day. ... show more

I had a screen protector before that was okay but dulled out the screen. When I received this, it was easy to apply. It keeps the clear look of the screen without dulling it as if there was no screen protector, which is what I was looking for. So far after two weeks I’ve haven’t seen any scratches but if there are any the package includes a second screen protector so that is a plus. ... show more
