I have had several griddles of different brands over many years. This is just as good as any and heated up quickly and sustained an even temp control. I find that all the griddles I have had only have about a two year life to them. Something goes wrong with the temp. control and they eventually don't heat up properly. I think this is a good value for the money and don't expect more than two years worth of grilling from it. The size is excellent for cooking for a family of 4 and it's light weight and fits easily in the sink for cleaning. I don't like the great big ones that are bulky and take up a lot of space. Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how well packaged and protected the griddle was. Then, I was impressed at the "fit and finish". But none of that means a thing if it didn't perform like I wanted it to. I've been cooking for >50 years and I was looking for something I could use indoors when the weather didn't allow me to use my outdoor grills (3 of 'em) where I could cook 2 pounds of bacon, or 8 slices of French Toast, or 6 medium pancakes or 6 fried eggs in one batch. The BELLA XL Electric Ceramic Titanium Griddle is big enough to do the job. The heat distribution was even, even to the edges. The non-stick ceramic coating is tough and super slick. The food just slid right off. Clean-up was super easy too. Grease is collected in a removable tray. I LOVE this griddle! I highly recommend this product! Came packaged well with no real outer damage, pulled it out to set it up. Then took some photos of a little tiny damage on the brackets and the bars above the grease tray are slightly uneven. Aside from these minor deformities and such this grill worked so perfectly, literally I couldn't believe it; how fast it heats up as well as how easy it was to clean. All together it weighs less than 7 lbs. I highly recommend you purchase this but be ready to make sure it doesn't have any major damages of any sort. It cooked my food tokoerdection within minutes another thing that blew my mind I love how it's perfectly easy to wipe off nothing sticks to the surface of this thing what so ever. I love this griddle it works great and clean up is so easy. You just have to watch the grease catcher if your cooking alot of things that are grease.
