Description

Enjoy outdoor grilled flavor anytime you want, regardless of the weather. The searing grill’s high-heat searing temperature locks in juices and flavor, giving your meat better taste, texture, and appearance. Unique hooded design helps keep in flavor to give your food that authentic outdoor grilled taste. There's no messing with propane, charcoal, or lighter fluid, so cooking couldn't be easier. Simply plug it in and turn the temperature dial all the way up to sear. When it reaches the high-heat searing temperature of 450 degrees, the green preheat light will glow. Now you’re ready to sear steaks, burgers, pork chops, or fish fillets to perfection. If you want to grill food that doesn't need to sear first, the searing grill has an adjustable temperature dial for lower heat.

  • Exceptional if you’re on a diet (and even if you're not)

I cannot rave enough about the Hamilton Electric Indoor Grill. It is simply amazing! It is lightweight (unlike other grills or air fryers), heats quickly, the removable tray, grill plate and cover remove easily for cleaning, and it's small enough to store in a cabinet. I've grilled flavorful fish, chicken, pork chops and vegetables on the grill making it extremely versatile. This grill is one of the best kitchen purchases I've made in a long time. You can also put a piece of aluminum foil to line the drip tray making clean-up even easier! ... show more

  • This thing is amazing
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 118 sq. in. Surface Serves 6
Not a paid advertisement or anything, I just really like this grill. I'll admit it: I'm lazy. The last thing I feel like doing is babysitting some meat that is pan frying. I was also pretty unskilled when I bought this grill. My pan fried food never came out just like I wanted. So, I bought this grill. It's a godsend. Just select the correct temperature based on the little guidebook they give you in the instruction manual, flip it halfway through (and sometimes change the temperature), and you're all good to go. Once I started getting better at cooking, I especially appreciated how "set it and forget it" this thing was, because I started getting busy making sides and sauces. It makes cooking accessible when you're busy with other things in the meal. A few months ago, my doctor also informed my husband and I that we have borderline high cholesterol. We immediately stopped eating red meat and stopped pan frying completely. We started eating a wide variety of fish, which still works great on this grill. And it's a lot more healthy - if you cook something and pull out the drip tray after, you can see all the fat that came off in the cooking process. Yes, you can use a nonstick pan and avoid some of the added oil, but in the end, the meat is still frying in its own fat. The ease of cooking also made me more likely to cook at home and less likely to eat out (saving money and losing weight!) If I'm too stressed or busy, I know I can throw rice in my rice maker and meat on the grill (and some veggies in the oven if I'm feeling especially fancy) and dinner will essentially cook itself without much input. Just make sure you keep the little book guide for temperatures and times or write it down somewhere. Technically you can probably find it online, but I found it much easier to just have it in front of me. Eventually I started to memorize the contents. The book isn't super extensive (like, I had to search online for the temp and time for my thick swordfish) but a little research online and a meat thermometer will help. Best paired with a meat thermometer (the guide tells you the ideal meat temp) and that Dawn power spray stuff. I just throw the grill pan and drip tray in the sink, spray the crap out of it with the power spray, let it sit for a about five minutes, and rinse. Super easy clean up. The top half is also removable to easily clean. I clean it after every use, but technically you could probably get away with a few uses without cleaning. Basically, this enables busy or unskilled people to cook meat in a healthy way with ease. And if you're lazy like me, you will love it too. ... show more

  • New Buyers Beware! - updated
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 118 sq. in. Surface Serves 6
I initially bought this item back in 2020 and I LOVED it. It was absolutely GREAT as a kitchen counter top electric grill. The cook surface heated evenly, it was easy to clean, everything about it was GREAT. Well, I used the item so much that over time it just got worn down and it came time for replacement. I replaced it with the exact same model in November of 2025. However, the new replacement unit was not the same. It did looks the same visually, and the operation of it with the control knob was the same.... but it was still NOT the same unit. The actual cook grill would give off a very funky odor every time it heated up. Almost like a burning chemical smell. Also, any food that I put on the cook grill would stick terribly. And when I say it would stick, I mean I literally would have to use a spatula to scrape the food off the grill because the bottom of the food would attach itself to the cook grill. I tried using non-stick cooking spray and that didn't help at all. I tried running the grill through the dishwasher a few times, still the same issue. Keep in mind, the original unit had no stick problems at all. I never needed non-stock spray. This new unit was so bad with the sticking that it was unusable. Finally after 5 or 6 uses and it just destroying my food due to the sticking issues I got fed up and called the manufacture (H.B.) support line. I told them the problem. I explained how the original unit was great, but this new one was so problematic. The woman that I spoke with told me that within the last few months they changed the way that they coat the cooking grill because whatever chemical they used previously was no longer allowed in certain states and for that reason they have recently (as of late 2025) been doing something different to the cook grill. They are shipping me out a new cook grill under warranty just in case I got a bad one. However, knowing that they completely changed how they coat the cook top has me concerned that maybe I didn't get a "faulty" grill, and maybe the problem is whatever change they made was a bad decision as far as how the problem performs. Once I receive the new cook top I'll post another update, but to anyone reading the reviews for this item currently - BEWARE. Yes, at one point this WAS a great product there were changes made in late 2025 and at least in my personal experience those changes really hurt the product. If my cook top just happened to be faulty, I'll post an update with that info once I receive the new cook top and confirm. But if my cook top isn't "faulty" and is just a product of these 2025 changes that they made with the chemical coating then this is a 0 star product and a piece of junk. So beware when you read any reviews that might be a little bit older, because those reviews would be from when this actually was a great product lol. *UPDATE - I did get the replacement cooktop for the grill and after using it for the first time it seems like that terrible stick problem is gone!! So, in regards to my above review, they DID make a change to the way they coated the cooktop for anti-stick at some point in 2025 and honestly, the older coating that they used was much, much better. But that being said, the cooktop that was causing terrible stick issues was in-fact defective (maybe it never got coated?) because the replacement cooktop that they sent me is much better with the no-stick.... So my final review for this item is 4 stars. The original version of this item, back before 2025 was a 5 star product. It was absolutely awesome. But the current version of this product, that uses the different no-stick coating on the cooktop is 4 stars just because it's not quite as good - although it is not the absolute disaster that I was talking about above (that ended up being a defective cooktop) ... show more

  • Wow!
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 118 sq. in. Surface Serves 6
Im absolutely sold on this product. The problem with your foreman style grills is obvious, it weighs down and squeezes everything out. Thats of course good to get some grease out if you're cooking really fatty ground beef or something, but if you're buying 80/85%, or cooking chicken, you don't want to do that. I can't find any fault on this product at all. This thing really does every meat that i've done so far (chicken breast, hamburger, minute steak) deliciously. Does it take a little longer than a press style grill, but the meats taste so much better, chicken most of all comes out juicy and really, really good. You absolutely don't need to use spray oil & that likely causes the smoky-ness that people have noted; just be sure to flip meat with a silicone spatula. Cleaning is easy. get some hot water going, pull the grill out and just wipe down with wet paper towels on both sides, dry off & its ready. Treat yourself, spend an extra few bucks and buy this thing! ***Six Month Update*** Im still in love with this thing. The people who complain about the finish chipping off, I don't know what you're doing. but I just hand clean the grill with wet paper towels and hot water, and everything cleans off great. If you put this in your dishwasher, you're a doofus because you know the dishwasher is going to mess up something like this. I've only had it smoke-up a couple times, and that was because i didn't clean the bottom part as well as the top, & there was some food residue under there. Don't neglect the bottom. Cooking wise it is easily the best appliance i've ever owned in terms of its functionality. One thing I've learned is with thicker burgers, its best to keep the temperature in the 250-300 range and flip every 4 minutes or so. Same thing with thick chicken breast. Steaks, I like medium so I get the thing super hot, sear each side for a minute and a half, then drop the heat to finish to my taste. And lastly, I love being able to make a meat & vegetable meal that comes out this good in the dead of winter when i'm not going out & using my gas grill. ... show more

This product gives you the taste of outdoor grilling. No matter the weather it’s ready. Great for 1-2 people. Amazing there’s no smoke in the house. East to clean. Food cooks perfectly and I didn’t have to mess around with charcoal and lighter fluid and waiting an hour for the coals to be ready. Wish I had gotten it sooner! ... show more

  • Great Grill, Still Some Room For Improvement
Color: Stainless Steel Size: 118 sq. in. Surface Serves 6
A worthy replacement for my worn George Foreman. Since it has adjustable settings, the cooking process is a bit more involved and requires the user to refer to the manual for the preparation of different food types. I give it high marks for its roominess (to fit more than one burger patty at a time), its removable grill plate (allowing for easier cleaning), and its performance. Now for the negative. Probably the worst thing about this model, is that the flat, horizontal surface area on the grill plate makes using it a bit less pleasant because of the increased chances of spills from flipping. Since the grilling surface lacks the shallow sloping angle of the Foreman, there is a greater risk of accidentally pushing the food off of the grill plate and into the lowered lid when trying to get underneath the food to flip it. There is actually a shallow curb feature on the outer edge of the grill plate that is designed to mitigate against this, but it does still require the careful attention of the user not to make this blunder. I've found this model to be a little messier with the residual grease after cooking. My other complaint is that the heating coils and the connector plug are both embedded directly into the grill plate itself. When trying to clean it in the sink, the protruding connector plug and its metal housing gets in the way and makes cleaning awkward. I'm probably just going to start taking it outside and run a pressure washer over it. I don't think cleaning it inside is worth all that trouble. In future designs, I would really appreciate it if they simplified it to where the grill plate is not joined at the hip with the heating elements. The modular "Boss" grill was actually much better designed in regard to its simplicity, where the grill plates would just snap into place and were separate from the coils that were fixed underneath. The only flaw with the base design concept of the "Boss", was that it didn't come with an extra pair of general purpose grill plates to rotate the dirty ones more easily (each pair was uniquely specialized for other purposes). The old "Boss" also lacked the grease pan that my Foreman and this newer Hamilton Beach model has. It would just be super nice if we could have the best of both worlds in a future model: a shallow sloping angle to make accidents less likely, heating elements that are separate from the removable grilling plate, and maybe a grease pan that collects the runoff grease more from the front instead of directly underneath. And...I don't know, maybe start manufacturing these things in America again like old times? ... show more
