Features

  • WATERPROOF HIGH POWER 12V DUAL 5.5" (140mm) ADJUSTABLE VENT FAN IMPROVES COOLING BEHIND FRIDGE - The Beech Lane vent fan features two large 5.5" fans powered by your 12V connection to maximize airflow behind your fridge to increase fridge efficiency and cooling. Smaller fans such as competitor 3.5" (90mm) fans fail to do the job. It works great to clear out the high heat during RV season. **The fans are about 1-1.5" thick - make sure there is enough room for the fans to fit on your vent**
  • RE-ENGINEERED STURDY MOUNTING BRACKETS FIT FIT AMERICAN RV VENTS - Unlike other vent fans that only fit European RVs and require zip ties to install, the Beech Lane vent fan has custom mounting brackets for easy installation on American RVs. **The fans are about 1-1.5" thick - make sure there is enough room for the fans to fit on your vent**
  • CUSTOM USER-FRIENDLY REMOTE TO CONTROL MANUAL AND AUTO MODES - The vent fan comes equipped with a custom remote giving you full control to choose between a manual and an auto, temperature sensing mode.
  • LIFETIME MANUFACTURER WARRANTY - If the vent fan ever fails or is damaged, it is covered by a lifetime manufacturer warranty.

  • Saves us thousands on buying a new fridge!
We have a Norcold aka no-cold fridge in our trailer. It finally works in the summer! We can’t hear it running from inside the trailer. Outside it’s only noticeable if you’re standing next to it. You can feel the hot air being pushed out too. These fans work great and help the fridge from getting heat soaked in the summer. The install required me to do a little cutting to some wood behind the fridge for clearance. Other than that it was smooth. I used my own connectors and heat shrink on the wires. • High quality product & support
This is the writeup I posted on FB: The problem is, there is nothing but convective circulation in the inside as well as the outer, hot heat exchanger. Even worse when operating in the heat of a warm day with the sun aggravating it worse - especially with a black upper weather cover, and/or if you park with the frig side towards the sun. I had noticed the freezer struggling to be cold enough - as well as the main frig running too warm. Ice cream way too soft. Ordered these fans - arrived; obvious quality design & manufacture! I installed their evaporator internal fans inside the main frig to circulate air over the evaporator fins, and these above the back heat exchanger. I paid a little more for the back fans, for their sealed bearings, waterproof, US made & lifetime warranty. The inside fans, same company & quality, were easy to install, with 4 alligator clips that clamp onto the fins. Wired it to the frig light power supply. These outside fans; I had to increase the 3 wires length a couple feet to reach to the top (covered by 1/4" ID split wire loom), under the weather cover - works better to suck the air out than push it, per the comments I read on youtube. Take care not to route the wires too close to the gas flame chimney. I also installed the control panel inside using Velcro, instead of inside the back cover, for easy access. I didn't have to drill any holes as the hole needed (to reach wires from the back to the control panel inside), already there. Power for the outside fans, easy access inside the back cover. I also installed an indoor/outdoor thermometer to monitor the result. Result - the freezer is consistently about -2°. Now the ice cream gets so hard, I need to soften it some in the microwave to make scooping it easier. Main frig, about 34°. Regardless of running on gas or electric, or ambient temp. I installed the dual fan on top of the bug screen frame, right below the weather cover. Secured it with 4 medium sized nylon wire ties. Suspended the temp sensor immediately above the upper heat exchanger fins using an extra-large wire tie (the size LEO's use for handcuffs). The docs were missing from my pkg. Contacted Beech Lane - Jack got back right away with the link to the docs. Also said they will add a couple feet to the wires to address situations like mine. Great TS as well as products! ... show more

  • Fixed my fridge issues - twice!
We have a new-to-us 2023 Arctic Fox 25Y. We're in Florida, and the fridge was struggling to keep cold - 50's in the fridge, 25 or so in the freezer. I checked the convection flow between the side intake vent and the roof outlet vent - none that I could detect. I decided to add fans to force some circulation. I shopped for 12V computer fans, wasn't too confident in their durability in this application. I ended up coming across these fans, liked the reviews, and ordered one. I installed it at the top of the stack, just above the condenser coils at the top of the freezer. Took off the vent cap and critter screen for access. The opening in the framing was pretty much a perfect fit for the fan assembly; I drilled the frame, bolted on four 1" steel angles, and screwed these to the inside of the opening. I added a couple of pieces of 3/16" paneling to block off the opening to either side of the fan assembly, to prevent recirculation, and attached the temp probe about one inch above the condenser coils. I stuck the control panel to the back of the fridge inside the lower vent, and fed the 12V power from the 12V supply terminals on the fridge control board. Took it for a camping trip last week. Fridge stayed around 42 degrees, freezer around 8. I was pretty pleased. Sorry, no pictures, I thought I took one of the installed fans, but don't find it on my phone. And reinstalling the roof vent was my first ever Dicor experience, that stuff is evil! At any rate, just wanted to give a report on the project. Completely fixed my fridge issue. Edit: this worked so well in the travel trailer, I recently bought another one to install behind the refrigerator in the boat. Before, you could feel the heat on top of the counter above the fridge, it was really warm in the fridge cabinet despite a passive vent. Problem is now fixed. It's hard to say how much I like this item without sounding like a shill, but I really like them. ... show more
