I just installed the air conditioner in our camper on 6 June 2025. The install went fairly well. I replaced a Dometic model. I was able to just make an L bracket to support the Dometic controller so we could use the propane heater. The air conditioner is working great.

It's soooo quiet. Standard 14x14 opening. Comes with a gasket. Only 3 wires to hook up as it comes with a remote. Power, neutral, ground. Took 10 minutes to install. Much better than my old dometic. Can't recommend enough.

This unit took a lot longer to install than stated in the information.i watched several videos on this installation and that helped more than the instructions. It a tight fit in the hole that the instructions stated but it works I installed the unit in a utility travel that has been converted to an rv. Once installed it didn’t work I took off the inside cover and turned the plug in connection to the remote sending unit around opposite of the installation and it fired up much to my relief. I do recommend the uni it has good air flow and very quiet it cools great. After looking over the ac it seems to be well made with quality parts. It hasn’t run long enough to see it’s going to remove the humidity as that is important to me as I live in South Georgia. But once again I do recommend just go slow and I think you will be satisfied ... show more

Unit works as expected. Cools well. Fairly easy install, however, it DOES come with the gasket between the unit and the roof. Amazon will recommend ordering that separately, but it is not needed since it comes with the unit.

I cannot speak to the longevity of this product. Having said that, we purchased this to replace our original Coleman Mach unit non ducted 13.5k that was 78 decibels on low. This unit on low is 53 decibels. We live in NC and have hot humid summers. So far so good. Would highly recommend. Install took my wife and I about an hour. Straight forward after watching some YouTube videos. It’s not silent, but a massive improvement. We went from having basically a vacuum cleaner level of noise to the sound of an exhaust fan in a bathroom. We can finally sleep. Watch tv. Even just talk in a normal tone of voice. Sweet relief. This unit has not cooled sufficiently since it was installed. Looks pretty but doesn’t work. I haven’t used it often because I live in a moderate climate. Very disappointed in this product(paid to have it installed and would have to pay for return etc)
