So glad I purchased this umbrella. It fit the bill perfectly for grab-and-go beach trips and is light enough for my 5 year old daughter to help carry from car to sand. I've seen some reviews commenting on the the overly cheap quality of some of the umbrella components and parts, but I've found them all to be in great working order and sturdy enough for consistently strong breezes during full days of use. The sand auger is a lighter-weight plastic, so I've been really careful not to turn it into the sand too forcefully, especially when resistance becomes stronger in harder packed sand. I've used it in my backyard a few times and had an easy time turning it into the lawn grass after loosening the crabgrass a bit with a small gardening spade. Also, I love the design. It's bold and the colors are very vibrant and unique, so much so that our exact site on the beach was easy find because it stood out from all the other similarly colored and striped umbrellas. I helped a family next to us set up their Tommy Bahama umbrella in the sand and noticed that all the parts and components were identical to mine; it was basically the exact same umbrella, but theirs cost >$80. SO PLEASED!

This is a really nice umbrella that we used at the beach a few times. The one bad thing is there are two plastic handles that flip down to help you twist it into the sand. These seem flimsy and I didn't want to snap them off so I didn't use them and just held onto the shift to twist it into the sand. Could not imagine using it in grass, unless those handles were metal.

These are absolutely beautiful! I am going for a more neutral theme for my backyard and these were great. They are sturdy and large and are adjustable. They can also tilt. Very good quality!

This is a great umbrella for the beach! This is the first umbrella I bought and the price is great. This is easy to put up, close, and store when you're done. As far as the beach goes, this isn't as sturdy as I'd like with the plastic anchor that's attached. I have had to put a two bag on the sides of the umbrella because it was moving around A LOT when the wind picked up. I bought a backup anchor just in case the plastic one breaks.

I'm no longer part of the sea of green, blue, yellow and red beach umbrellas and I'm so GLAD!!! I'd been wanting something different as I really don't like primary colors or the typical beach umbrellas and was thrilled when I found this color combo AND design! A few girl friends and I have loved the ease of twisting it into the sand and it's good to go and easy to carry in it's carrying pouch. Really really beautiful! Not to mention that it went perfect with our black beach chairs!
