I have been training clients since 1997 and a certified Senior Fitness Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Finding the right equipment for my senior adult clients to remote train during the pandemic was critical and the best bench for the job proved to be the Barwing Folding bench! This very reasonably priced equipment has proven itself over the past two years with multiple clients to be reliable, durable, easy to use, and the folding feature superb for in home use. The Barwing folding weight lifting bench is a no nonsense design that looks great and performs exceptionally well for men and women. The adjustment ranges are high and easy to set and lock. The folding feature is simple and straightforward; many of my senior clients just fold it up and neatly put it away when we’re done training. There are no unnecessary “bells and whistles” to this weight bench to jack up the price and the handles on the bench back are useful for a variety of core and assisted balance exercises but can be easily removed if not needed. I owned a commercial grade bench I acquired from a gym. It was excellent but heavy and unwieldy for in home use. After recommending this bench to my remote clients and seeing just how well it performed I gave away my high priced Italian made commercial grade gym bench and finally bought a Barwing folding bench for myself and my wife! It is perfect; light but strong. Easy enough for my 5’ 107 lbs. wife to move around and position but strong enough for my 220 lbs frame with weights to comfortably, safely, and without thought or worry about its stability or support to plow through my lifts! There are other great brands out there but if you want a better design for a reasonable price that folds beautifully for easier storage, go no further. This is the way!

Great bench. 95% assembled out of the box, which is great if like me you’re tired of assembling everything you buy for the home gym. Feels very safe and sturdy unlike some other cheaper benches where you hear the wooden bench crack a little and move as you lay under the bar and you wonder if this is the day your wife is going to find you collapsed on the garage floor on top of a broken bench with a barbell pinned on top of you. Also it inclines well and is foldable. Great value for what you get!

This bench does exactly what it claims. It’s pretty wasy to maneuver and shape shift, when you read the directions. I looked up a video as well for more clarification. I love having a sturdy bench at home to use that I know isn’t going to collapse on me. It’s the perfect height and it can hold a lot of weight. It’s even study enough for me to use for backward crunches. The bench comes with a nice hangable picture sheet of a bunch of different workouts you can do using it as well. I love that and refer to it often! I assembly required. It came in the box folded up. The most I had to do was add the padding to the feet bars

First off, I read through all of the reviews that are 3 stars and lower (up to the point that this review is posted) and they are all unfair, likely written by people that do not read through item descriptions thoroughly before buying/read the user manual before using. Those that are complaining that the bench is not big enough for them to do their specific exercise(s), the DIMENSIONS are in the description! That's YOUR fault for not reading and determining that this product will not work for your needs. And to those complaining that it is not quick/easy to adjust, the manual tells you to loosen the locking knobs (takes me about 2-3 full twists) and then PULL the end of the knob with one hand and adjust the bench with the other. That's how the quick-lock works. It is even etched into each of the knobs. Then the knob "automatically" finds the next hole as you move the bench cushion, and then you twist it tight to secure. It is not even slightly difficult. If you're having problems with this, you should probably start with some hand grip exercises before you start lifting weights on this thing. Now, for the product itself. This bench met all of my expectations. It's heavy, sturdy, versatile, made of durable metal, took about 5 minutes to setup initially out of the box, and easy to adjust and collapse for storing. The gray stitching around the sides LOOKS like it is made of flimsy material and that it will rip easily, but I did a pull test all the way around, and unless you're trying to intentionally destroy this thing it's going to last a good while. I only have 2 complaints. One, mine came with slight damage (scratch in the metal with rust, see pics) that doesn't affect the functionality at all. Second, when fully collapsed, the bench doesn't sit upright and has to be leaned against a wall like the lady does in the video, or you extend the leg pads so that it rests on them and balances on itself (see pic for a better description). Both of these are certainly not deal breakers. All in all, I am happy with my purchase. The price is very fair for the quality! These negative reviewers are likely looking for a handout or unnecessary apology from a company doing great things out here.

This bench was the perfect addition to my home gym! I have always kind of hated going to the gym. Too many people, I’m usually too sweaty and messy to socialize anyway. Just trying to get in, get a workout in, get home. I’m there for one reason, and it’s not socialization. I use this bench for just about everything, the adjustable incline and decline ability makes is super versatile. Also, I’m a big guy, 6’8 and fluctuate around 280-300lbs, but this bench is STURDY! I’ve never felt like it couldn’t hold me plus the weights I’m lifting. Highly recommend!
