Often when I'm doing ball joints it's in a buddy's muddy driveway where a big pothole has revealed the failing ball joint. Every time I "borrow" a tool from the local auto parts shop I'm terrified I'm going to misplace a piece in a mud puddle or not get it back in time and end up getting charged brand new rice for a beat up old tool kit. I live way down a bumpy dirt road and so I work on ball joints frequently enough that I decided to just go ahead and grab this kit. It's every bit as good as the one you can "borrow", but without the anxiety about losing a piece or neglecting to get it back within 48 hours. It's nice to know I have the tool on me and it belongs to me, and the price is incredibly reasonable.

I’m pretty impressed with the heft of this ball joint removal and press kit by Yonligonju. It’s definitely solid. The kit has pretty much everything needed. The coating looks to be powder coat and is pretty decent. I did notice a small rust spot inside the press but no big deal and I just put a bit of oil on it. The case is just a blow mold plastic case and keeps it all together so hopefully don’t lose any of the receiving cups or adapters. Overall, I’m very happy with it and am glad to have it in my toolbox. There are no instructions included but I imagine most people ordering this kit will already know how to use it.

This kit has all the parts almost all basic ball joint press kits have. Additional adapters may be required for certain applications. Appears to be well made and should make ball joint replacements easier. Unknown as to the durability of the tools during constant use. Preparing difficult jobs with cleaning, penetrating oils, or heat should make jobs easier. There are no instructions. Learning how to use the tool correctly is a must for best results. Can be used for universal joints as well. Worth considering.

I have had to run to town a few times to *rent* the tool from the local parts store. Every time I get one that is bent, beat up and the cups are destroyed. I picked this up for those times when you just need the tool and nothing else works. Pros: This tool is BEEFY. Super heavy duty clamp. If I bend this thing, I am doing something really wrong. Has a huge selection of cups for different sizes. This should work for control arm bushings as well. I typically hate blow molded cases, but as this is a rarely used tool for me, I appreciate the case and storage of it. Labeled it on the end, and slid it in the cabinet next to my tool box. Cons: None really, unless I manage to somehow break the C clamp *which I doubt*. Overall: For the price of $40.00 at review time, this is a great deal for a tool you want to have on hand when you need it. Much better build quality than the local parts stores sell/rent for 50% more.

I actually just picked this up to replace some missing parts from my last kit. Everything looks just as well made as others and will keep me up and running. Pro-tip. Keep the threads greased or lubed. They take a ton of abuse. They last a lot longer when treated right.

I'm getting ready to do some front end work on my car, and rather than mess around, I thought I would get the right tool for the job. Excellent idea. This kit is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are good. Has a good selection of accessories that should cover most automotive needs. Comes in a nice plastic case that keeps everything together and organized. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
