I’ve really liked this balance board. It is pretty easy to balance on it so the difficulty isn’t that hard. However, you can use it as a workout too and my kiddo with adhd has really liked using it too. It’s held up over the last month which is impressive since it’s made out of wood.

It is a pretty heavy and sturdy material. The non slip material on the top is great and does its job. It seems like it will be very durable and should be able to support a lot of weight. It is fairly easy to balance on if you have good balance, or it could be good to use for those that really need to work on their balance. I like to stand on it while doing band or dumbbell exercises to increase the difficulty level of balance. It only rocks in one dimension, but you can stand front to back or sideways to work on balance 2 different directions.

The dimensions are important but aren't given in the ad. This one is 40cm (16in) x 20cm (8in) which makes it fine for side-to-side rocking but too narrow for forwards-backwards. A crucial dimension is the radius of the rockers. A large radius makes a fairly stable, 'gentle', rocker. A small radius makes it more aggressive. This brand has a large radius of about 40cm (16in) which makes it very gentle. I have two kinds in my classroom, 18 of these and 8 of a wider but more aggressive one. My students tend to favour this one for side to side rocking and the other for forwards-backwards. The maximum tilt angle is about 30 degrees which is a bit on the steep side in my opinion. Anyone with a mild disability or the less than perfect balance that comes with age may have trouble getting on and off without something solid to hold on to.

This balance board is excellent for improving core stability and coordination. The anti-slip surface feels secure underfoot, and the build quality easily supports adult use. It’s great for standing desk breaks, physical therapy, or fitness training. Compact enough to store easily yet sturdy enough for serious balance work. A well-made piece of equipment that adds versatility to any home workout setup. I use this for my desk when I raise it up to standing level and it is actually much more comfortable then just standing on the floor. Keeps you moving a little bit so you are not putting all of your pressure on one leg like I tend to do. Helps with keeping your blood flowing for better circulation. Works well, easy to use, and designed to fit perfectly under your desk.
