A bit thinner than I thought, it appeared in the picture the back edge was reinforced. Came with all the hardware and 1 extra set of bolt, washer and expansion insert. I installed it by myself so it doesn't weight much. Tapped 1 hole, loose mounted it, marked the other 3 holes. Took it down, drilled and inserted the remain 3, then securely mounted it. I used a weatherproof seal tape on the back edge. Good value if it can hold up to a bit of snow on it.

Arrived quickly, had a white protection wrap on all surfaces, has clear support brackets (no instructions for these), washers and screws. Grey duct tape I assume is for reinforcement of some sort (painted it white to match the background color), pretty much invisible from a distance. Seems like it will work nicely for my purpose ( to be able to leave windows open on my shed and not worry about rain). Pretty easy install. No issues.

This product is very easy to install. Fortunately in my case I was able to pick up the existing fastener the center of the frame. However on the other two I had to drill new holes to install. This type of awning is perfect for small Windows like your kitchen window over your sink. I highly recommend the use of a cordless drill with adjustable torque for the installation of the fasteners.

The media could not be loaded. EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! NOTE: You’ll need to buy replacement steel or brass screws. Their aluminum ones are no good. Plan to get 2” screws to use. I should have gotten DOUBLE the length I did— they seem to work best with overhang. I was being cheap and got the small one that fit the space— I didn’t actually trust myself that this was a good investment, so I felt guilty paying more for excess length. But upon delivery and install, I think it was indeed a good investment- but now I have one that’s probably too narrow. In time, I might relocate it elsewhere and just buy a longer one in its place.
