I don't know why the ones with negative reviews had a bad experience....but ours was awesome. Flawless set up, recognized quickly, works on all our xboxes. Hooked up to mom and dads of course. Great external drive for Xbox Series X. The dark blue LED light works for my RGB setup. I use dark blue RGB on all my devices (PC, keyboard/mouse, soundbar, Xbox RGB stand) so this fits right in. Might be a negative for others. Knocked off 1 star because I had to replace the data cable with an Anker Powerline III cable. Kept getting pop-up on Xbox about try a different port. Would also crash when playing games from the external drive (old games only, can't play games for X/S from external drive). After trying all 3 ports, decided to get a better data cable and that resolved the issues. No more pop-ups and no issues playing games directly from the external drive. Have a good game collection built up from Xbox360 & XboxOne over the years. Nice that I can install them on the external drive and play from Xbox Series X (even though I have all 3 Xboxes connected). ... show more

Using it for my PC after reformatting to NTFS, and it seems pretty good so far. Really like how it looks ,and that it sit horizontally. The bottom side however is all metal and no rubber feet. Checked the box and bags it came with and no stick on rubber feet were included. The box nor the manual suggested that it was included, so it not as if they mislead me. I definitely would not recommend placing it on a console , for fear of scratching it. The price I paid for it is reasonable. Had I purchased a 4TB HDD and the most basic ,eye sore of an enclosure ,locally , I would have spent more. ... show more
