Perfect companion for ps5.
Use on my ps5 and no problems at all. Stored any ps4 games I have on it and its simple plug and play. Easy moving from the console to the hard drive and you can play ps4 games directly from the hard drive or just store your ps5 games so they don't take up space on the console hard drive.

Decent Storage
The product has a decent storage and a nice size. Can easily be put in a carrying case or backpack if you travel with your system. With data, it initially only read as a PS4 capable device, but after an update in the PS5 system I was able to store my PS5 games on it. Might look into making sure this works for your system prior to purchase.

Bad product.
Much better off spending the extra $20 and getting a Seagate for PS5. Honestly i don’t even know why this product is still being sold as it doesn’t even work. When i first connected it, it gave me an error saying something is wrong with the extended storage drive you connected then told me i needed to repair it. The repair failed and told me i needed to reformat it (supposed to come pre-formatted), I did all of that and when i finally went and tried to transfer games onto the drive after a few minutes the transfer failed and kept giving me an error code (CE-107552-0). this also isn’t due to my internet because i have fiber optic and fast speeds. TLDR: Waste of money, don’t buy and waste your time like me if you are ps5 just get a seagate instead.

Nice external storage unit
This external hard drive works great. Very easy to set up and move your games over too. Light weight and plugs right in with no issues. Matches my PS5.

PS5 friendly
I just received this external hard drive for the PS5 and it works well. It automatically picked up on the system without any issues. It's 1 TB. So there's plenty of space for my other games. Definitely recommend if you want something that's inexpensive and works
