So far, so good. It is a bit small on the inside. My kitties were hesitant to use it at first, but I think they really began to appreciate the fact they didn't have to step on their poo and pee every time they went in. I work very long hours, so by the time I get home, my 2 cats have done a bit of damage to the clean areas in the regular box they were using. I think this machine has ultimately made them happier. I used to come home at night to find they have peed on the litter pile in the floor that they constantly scoop out while they search for a clean spot. Since getting this box, they have not peed on the floor at all. It's solved a LOT of smelly problems I was having. There is still litter spillage, but they're not peeing on it anymore. I can just sweep it up and put it back in. Things to know: the inside is small. My larger cat hops in to do her thing, but she doesn't turn around because it is such a small space, so she just pees right on the front corner of the litter tray. So it gets stuck and doesn't fully get covered in litter. I end up having to break it free and scoop that part anyway. But, overall, it has saved me A LOT of trouble after my long days. I just have to pull the bag and replace it instead of spending 15 minutes scooping and scooping every night after 12 or so hours of work when I just want to take a shower and sit down. Safety: I was very worried with how the thing turns. Horror stories of cats getting their heads stuck in vertical turning baskets terrified me. But there is plenty of clearance when it does fully turn over, no cats heads in danger of getting stuck. It also seems to have a very sensitive alert system and stops immediately when it's touched at all while moving. Cleaning is pretty easy. You can take the entire thing apart and wash everything. It was a bit of a hassle at first to use the little plastic partition they give you for dumping the old litter and then dismantle everything for a deep clean. I've learned that's not totally necessary. Throw away the plastic thing. It doesn't work anyway. Just get a disposable plastic cup or something to scoop out all the old litter. Once a week whenever you change the litter, get some Lysol wipes and wipe everything down in and out. Then once a month, take the whole thing apart to give it a good wash. It comes apart very easily. The pieces are just a bit bulky to find a place to scrub and wash them. Overall, I'm SO happy I bit the bullet and finally ordered an automatic litterbox. This one has been great so far. It's made my cats happier, and saved me a LOT of time every day cleaning up after them. And my house smells better. You still need to remove and replace the bag every night if you want no smells. I just ordered new bags, but I don't want to have to keep buying special bags. That is a drawback, but I'm going to try to figure something else out. I'll update if I think of something that actually works ... show more

It's hard to say something bad or good about this device. When I received it it was broken. When I returned it I wasn't given the option to reorder. I would have like the opportunity to try this machine.

This litter box has been a blessing to me. From day one it has worked flawlessly. It's such a relief to know that my cat always has a clean litter box at all times. I've never had any problems with it. I really wanted an automatic litter box that didn't have an app. I have too many apps to keep track of, so this not having an app was one of the main reasons for choosing it. My cat is blind and it took a week or so for her to get used to it. I had to put pet stairs in front of it in the beginning but now she can jump in and out without needing the stairs. A nice bonus is that it makes the litter more efficient, so I'm buying less litter! I highly recommend. ... show more

    • Made my life so much easier
This works perfectly for my cat. It’s much quieter than the other one I have, it cleans itself every time he uses it, and it was easy to put together. The bags are also simple to just switch out. I appreciate the large opening as my cat is a very large 17lb, long boy. He can’t get in comfortably. It has made me life much easier. Regarding the tracking of litter from it that it OUT OF CONTROL terrible, I changed The type of litter I was using to the tofu chunks and the tracking is reduced by 90%. I have a large long hair male with large furry paws that collect litter and can’t use typical litter with this or it’s all over the floor. Would be perfect if it was a little larger depth wise for the very large cats. ... show more

Works great so far. My 5.5 month old kitten was super fascinated by it when I was assembling it. He was trying to get in it while I was putting litter in. He was fascinated watching it do it's cycle. He loves it and so do I. It's basic, just cleans the litter. No bells and whistles which is what I wanted. No Bluetooth or internet connections which is fine by me. Just that much more possibility of things to go wrong. So if it continues doing the job I will be thrilled. I like the fact no need for fancy expensive litter, just clumping litter. I have had this product for one week and so far, best money I have spent for my cats. I have only had to change out the bag once after a full week of 2 kitties using. They used it straight away with no accidents outside of the box. There is some litter scatter from jumping out of the box but minimal and manageable. No stinky smell! So far, no issues! ... show more

I like what it does. It’s a lot quieter than our last. I think that the sides are a little low because I have to clean up littler off the floor every-time my cat goes. Wish I knew how to fix that.

If I can give this a zero, I would. Bought the item, the cat litter it comes with, bought it one additional time, and then it is out of stock. Amazon suggested a recommended item and I got it, it broke the machine. I called to get a refund, they sent a request to the seller and the seller hasn’t even replied. Now, I’m stuck with a machine that doesn’t work and can’t get my money back. ... show more
