    • Fraction of the price, quiet and fast rotation
Wanted to wait a while before leaving a review. In a 3 cat household having a working and useful litter box is important! I’ve had a litter robot for many years. When that broke I looked around for a replacement. This was a fraction of the price so I was hesitant. However, this is far superior to the litter robot. The rotation is quiet and incredibly fast! I was worried the bin would be too small, but it’s not! The only thing I don’t love is that when the bin is full, it leaves the emptying area open. So I do keep a camera on it, so I know when I need to change it. The app does notify me of the bin being full but if I’m not looking at phone I could miss it. I have now purchased two of these. They are easy to assemble, easy app setup, and they are big enough for my 20+ lb cats. I have several cats and cleaning 9 litterboxes every day is quite the task. This has sped up the process and made it souch easier. Some of the cats were afraid of it at first, but now they use these boxes almost exclusively. Will be purchasing more in the future (as budget allows, as these are still an investment, although much cheaper than other options available). I feel these are totally worth the cost. ... show more

    • Just OK, but not great
I initially was excited to have a solution to my current litter box situation with two messy little kitties. In general, this litter box is just OK. The screen inside that’s intended to filter the litter into the disposal box at the bottom has openings that are too large. So it doesn’t filter out any small pieces that is left once the litter box has cleaned itself. I honestly would have sent it back, but it’s too big and bulky. Seemingly I think the inside is a bit small as my larger male cat avoids it and I still have one regular litter box for him because I think he feels cramped getting inside. ... show more

I had a very negative experience with this litter box. The poop and pee was stuck on the cover and the whole house was stinking. It was a disaster. It is not large enough i think for my 2 average size cats. I had to return it.

Pros: Firstly I'll say it definitely works as it should. It took my kitten only a couple of days before she would finally go inside but as soon as she did she realized she liked it so she uses it regularly now. I currently have it on "kitten mode" because she is barely 3 lbs and I worry it won't detect her and it recommends to do this until she reaches 5 lbs. She is curious and likes to watch it during a cleaning cycle and I will say if she steps inside it does stop as it should. Cons: The sifter panel's holes need to be way smaller. Could just be because my kitty is still small but smaller "chunks" don't filter out because of the larger holes. I don't want to have to manually scoop these because it defeats the purpose of buying this spendy robot. If they would provide a replacement part with smaller sifting holes I would 100% purchase it. I also had pee stick to the side a couple of times and had to scrape it with a scooper. That could be the litter I'm using, or maybe I waited too long to manually run the cleaning cycle tho since I'm not yet using the auto clean. It did just pop off though when I scraped with the scooper. Only other con so far is my messy kitty still flings litter outside the machine. The small barrier in front of the opening doesn't really stop that very well. I do use a litter catching mat and steps to help but I'm still vacuuming up kitty litter daily I haven't had this very long yet so will update on durability after I have used it a while ... show more

This thing is great so far! Functions exactly as advertised. We have a three legged cat, recently disabled, my first indoor cat. And I just can not do scooping. It gives me the ick so terribly. So I bought this. At first, I thought he’d have trouble getting in and out of it but he didn’t at all! He literally started using it the day we put it together. I left it unplugged the first day so it wouldn’t scare him, and after that he’s used it perfectly. The design is nice and simple. It cleans up well. Changing the bags frequently prevents any odor at all (I’m using an antibacterial litter and changing the bag twice a week at the very least). It’s built nicely, & seems very sturdy. The dark color blends in well and it doesn’t look like a littler box standing out in the room. It’s quiet and the delay function allows for safety which is very disabled pet friendly. So far, 5 stars. Better than expected for a random Amazon purchase! ... show more
