I will readily admit with some shame that I am terrible at remembering to change the litter box. I know I could do better and I am better sometimes. Life however kicks you in the face sometimes and chores get put to the side. An automatic cleaning litter box is something I've wanted for awhile but just couldn't do it. When I saw this litter box I decided it was time to give it a try. Assembly was pretty easy. I was able to follow the directions well enough, though I did catch a misspelling in the instructions. When plugged in the LED's in the screen were flashing sporadically but doing a hard reset fixed it. I don't particularly like using the buttons on the litter box because I tend to forget to unlock the screen and then you have to hold down the buttons for the correct amount of time. Using the app to control the litter box is much easier. The app isn't overly complex and is easy to use. One complaint I have is the electric cord isn't very long. I'm in a rental that has only one plug in the bathroom above the counter. It really needs an outlet that's close to the floor but I made do. I'm also not super happy about the size of the area for the cat. My adult cat takes up the whole space. He has no room to do his bathroom shuffles. He is 10lbs and I don't think this litter box would fit a cat any bigger than that. He did transition easily to this litter box. He had no trouble using it despite the lack of space. The litter box's safety feature for the cat works very well. All cleaning motion stops when he jumps back in. It has so far been a pretty decent self cleaning litter box. It hasn't disappointed me yet. Update When I started using this I just regularly emptied the waste container once a week. When I did this sometimes it was a little early. It could have held more litter. To save the bags that I have that fit the waste container I decided to wait this time for the full waste indicator. I checked it daily and it wasn't until the container was so full that it jammed the litter box rotation mechanism that the indicator came on. It ended up causing quite a mess. Afterwards it took a while for it to level the litter box again despite pressing the button for it on the box and in the app but it did level it eventually. I still love this litter box but I'm not going to wait for the waste indicator again and just do regular changes.

The litter box is the perfect size for my cat (around 10 lbs). She loves to jump right in when it’s time to use it. I like this spacious design, and it works great for my cat.

Feels like weak plastic. Seems to wiggle a lot. Not sturdy. The inside piece seems to move within the housing a lot, has a lot of play. Putting it together was easy, directions were clear. The part that holds the cat litter is a kind of material and seems like cat pee will get in it and make it smell really bad. The vent fan is noticable and may scare the cat. The app is annoying because it wants so many different permissions. The unit is kind of quiet when it runs. The vent hose to attach to the fan doesn’t have any connections. It’s very loose and almost seems like it needs a clamp. The power supply feels cheap. It’s long enough for the area we needed but doesn’t feel quality. Levels the sand out nicely and the litter is easy enough to get out. Our cat doesn’t like how fast it cleans the litter out so we had to adjust the time it takes to do the cleaning. Overall I’m satisfied with it and will continue to see how long it’ll last.

This is a well-designed and functional cat litter box. A friend has an earlier automatic cat litter box, but it works by running a comb-like attachment through the litter. This is going to work much better than that design. It seems to be an exceptional design and value for the price. This is a complex item to set up, and I made a couple of mistakes. First, you must install the app to set up the device. The app is named Tuya - Smart Life, and it appears that it is common to several devices and functions. It has 10M+ downloads, so it is widely used and should be safe. My first problem was that while getting it out of the box and assembling it, I put the waste tray in the wrong end. It fits, but the unit will absolutely not work. It uses a magnet to make sure the tray is installed correctly. Next, I overfilled the unit slightly. Once again, flashing error lights, and it would not function. Same flashing lights, but a different problem. The quick start card does not have enough information for troubleshooting, but the manual is exceptionally good just a bit long when you are already frustrated. After I installed the unit, I have seen the cats in it several times, but no one has used it yet, except for some digging. I think I will need to take up the other litter pans. It seems like this is going to be a much less messy environment than having multiple litter pans that I must change daily. It seems very quiet in operation, and it uses simple trash bags rather than some expensive trays or boxes. The only downside could be in a full periodic cleaning. The tub, when loaded, is heavy and is hard to hold on to for removal.

The media could not be loaded. I love the wide open design and how easy to put them together. It came with a fan and tube for odor control. The drawer under the litter box was big and easy to install bags. It also came with a mat to collect litter which is very useful for keeping my bathroom clean.
