It opens and closes easily. The only thing that I wish was different is that it was a little bigger. What a great convenient automatic door! Simple set up and works on time each day. I've had it over a month now and it continues to work even in our coldest weather of 0°F.

Door was super easy to install! We bought two traditional handmade chicken coops which came with traditional wooden chicken doors. We wanted a solution that would eliminate us having to manually open/close these doors several times per day. We settled on these doors because we wanted something that seemed durable, was not a smart door and all because of the simplicity of the design. The actual moving portion of the door is approximately 8” x 10” and is made of black aluminum. It has six holes for attaching it to your coop with deck screws or whatever else will fit through the holes. The battery powered mechanism box and its associated gear are both plastic which concerns me a bit. The door opens and closes with ease and will hopefully help ensure the safety of our girls. Although our coops are inside a fully enclosed run so we have virtually no threat to our chickens. I like the look and functionality of these chicken coop doors. I just hope they hold up for awhile in the Arizona heat/sun. (We did install them on the shady side of our coops though, so maybe that will help).

I will buy this door again if I need to. You will not be disappointed for the price. I have the expensive chicken door and this door, and both work perfectly, but for the price this is the way to go. It is easy to setup the up and down time when needed. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

It lasted seven months and the door stop opening. Closes with no problem. Adjusted screws on door frame thinking framed might be too tight. Didn’t know how after seven months but thought I’d give it a shot. No change

It is a great product ordered one in the past and I had to re-order again. I love the fact that it actually came with the batteries that you use instead of you having to go buy one it already come preset to the time that I love to open in the morning and close at night. It works pretty good for my chickens.

Literally was so easy to set up! Instructions were clear and very easy! Came with screws and a screw driver! Door opens and closes on scheduled time. It’s very sturdy. The size is perfect all my chickens can fit through the door. Very safe! Functions very well! Would recommend 100%!
