Size: Auto cat litter box
We’ve been using this automatic litter box for several weeks now and I’m more impressed with it than I thought I’d be. I had a similarly styled one twenty something years ago and it was more hassle than it was worth. We’ve come a long way and this is much more improved than I expected. The app was easy to set up and I like the adjustability of being able to select the length of time between it sensing someone in the box to scooping. We had to play with this a bit to find the right clumping time for our litter. I’m also extremely impressed by the sensors that stop the rake while it’s in motion if it detects movement in the box. I inadvertently tested this by sprinkling some baking soda into the pan as it was cycling and a few clumps of baking soda fell in. The rake immediately stopped moving. That was shocking, and I didn’t expect a dime sized clump of baking soda to stop the rake. However it made me feel reassured that it would stop if a cat were to step into it when it was in motion. It also did not restart and I had to reset it. I’m not sure if it would have reset on its own after a certain amount of time, but after a few minutes I just hit the button in the app since I was standing there. It is a larger unit, and I wish it were less bulky and had more actual litter box space. We have 20+ pound ragdolls and it’s a tight fit. We’ve had a couple instances of accidentally peeing over the edge the box by our biggest boy. A few more inches of litter area would make a big difference for big kitties. We’ve not had a single issue of the rake getting stuck, or the collection bin lid not closing. We have four litter robots that are stuck mid cycle that we can’t fix which is infuriating. This has worked smoothly, surprisingly quietly (I hardly ever notice it running even from in the same room), and our cats took to it immediately. It’s been easy to clean. I like how easy the rake comes off to actually clean it. The whole unit just seems well designed, well made and well thought out. It just works. I don’t have to think about it, I don’t have to mess with it, I don’t have to reset it constantly, I just have to take out the bag, put in a new one and add more litter every few days. It’s expensive, $190 for a litter box is expensive, no matter how you spin it. But it’s pretty good for an automatic one, and for one that’s so simple and hassle free, it’s an absolute steal. The safety feature of stopping so easily is extremely important and very reassuring after seeing so many people experience failure and have their cats injured by a litter box. I would recommend this one based on the safety aspects especially.

Overall it has been a really convenient upgrade compared to a traditional litter box. As a cat owner, anything that helps reduce the daily cleaning routine is a big plus, and this automatic litter box definitely helps with that. One of the first things I appreciated is the open structure design. Some automatic litter boxes are completely enclosed, which can make cats feel uncomfortable or hesitant to use them. This one is much more stress-free for cats because it feels closer to a regular litter box, and my cat adapted to it surprisingly quickly. There was no long adjustment period, which made the transition much easier. The odor-control design also works well. It helps keep the area smelling much cleaner, especially in smaller spaces where litter box odors can become noticeable. Once the cleaning cycle runs, the waste is sealed away which really helps reduce the smell compared to a normal litter box that needs to be scooped several times a day. Another great feature is the anti-pinch safety system. This is an important detail because safety always comes first with automatic devices around pets. The system is designed to stop if it detects movement, so you don’t have to worry about your cat getting hurt while the unit is running. The app remote control is also a very nice touch. Being able to monitor or control the litter box from your phone makes things much easier. You can check the status, run cleaning cycles, and stay on top of maintenance without having to constantly check it manually. It really adds a level of convenience that busy pet owners will appreciate. The build quality feels solid, and it doesn’t take up too much space.
