We have had the litter box about two weeks now and we are thrilled with it. We had a litter robot 3 prior and it was having issues with something internally and it was becoming a huge hassle but we had it for about 6 years and it was time to a replace. My first instinct was litter robot but the price just wasn’t something I was comfortable with again. I browsed Amazon and ran across this box and we decided to give it a shot. So far my only complaint is that it doesn’t hold much litter at all and I have two cats. So I do have to fill it up/top it off every few days. Otherwise it’s a great product. 1. It’s VERY QUIET when it goes through a clean cycle. 2. It’s very easy to put together. 3. Very easy to clean. 4. My cats seem to like it. (I have two 8 pounds girls). Overall, I’d purchase again. It’s definitely worth the $149!

This litter box does its job extremely well. Assembly was simple, the unit runs quietly, and the self-cleaning cycle has been totally reliable. The app is straightforward, not overloaded with features, and the weight monitoring has been accurate. My cat accepted it immediately and uses it without hesitation. Odor control is excellent, and daily maintenance has basically disappeared. This is the first litter box I’ve owned that truly makes the whole process easier.

I recieved and assembled mine 07/15. Assembly was easy. I'm not really great at following schematics, but this product comes with step by step pictures of the actual product - not drawings/prints - and combined with the video tutorial it was pretty straightforward. I think it is important to note that you need to tighten ALL the screws all the way. The instructions do specify a specific part that absolutely needs to be tightened completely, but I took extra time to make sure they all did because it's obvious there's potential for leakage if all seems are not fully drawn together. Took about 45m start to finish, both Assembly and getting the app set up. Per the app data the cats (one 6lb and one 8.5lb) have used it 12 times. It looks like it's been untouched and contains smell well - I changed the waste bin the first time 7/17. It was only a quarter full. So for smaller cats could probably go a few days. The rotation for cleaning is very slow and doesn't seem to take much at all to stop, so it doesn't appear to pose much hazard to cats - it can be set so it won't run if there's more than 2lbs of weight. So while I would not recommend for small kittens, it seems safe for adults. The bin itself is entirely separate from the rotating mechanism. But if concerned for pet safety it can be set for manual clean only. Update: Woke up to an odd thumping and found the cat riding the box during a clean cycle like some kind of roller coaster then watched as she climbed inside it like a hamster wheel so I can confidently say it's pretty safe.

This is an awesome litter box and a total game changer. It works so well and it is extremely quiet and safe. If a cat jumped in there while it was cleaning, there is no way it could get trapped. The litter box stopped automatically if a cat even rares up on it, but if it jumped inside, nothing would happen even if it was in the cleaning mode we started using this box over Thanksgiving weekend, and I am so thankful that a litter box like this exist for such a reasonable price.

The last automatic cleaning cat litter box I had was one with a round design that cleaned by rotating almost 180 degrees to the left. I liked that one because it was large enough for my 15 lb cat to fit inside and it had a deodorizing feature using negative ions. Unfortunately, the motor died after two years so I was disappointed, but also felt like I got my money's worth as I have two cats and only had to remove the waste every 3 or 4 days. I was not able to purchase the same type (currently unavailable on Amazon), so I researched other self-cleaning boxes. This one had a smaller footprint than the last and was lighter in weight. It also was about half the price, although it does not have the deodorizing feature. However, I do like that it is very quiet, the app tells you how many times the box is used, and which cat went in (identifies by weight). It also uses less litter than my old box and no litter is thrown out when it starts its self-cleaning cycle because it rotates backwards and dumps the mess into the container located on the back side of the box. Additionally, it came with a small broom and dustpan, bags, and plastic gloves. The only cons are: The inside depth is about 12 inches, so for my large cat (he weighs about 15.5 lbs) it is a little tight for him to freely turn around in because it has about 12 inches in depth (width) vs my old box which was about 18 inches. Also, since there is not much of a lip in the front, sometimes my cats will throw out a little litter when they are trying to cover their poop/pee.
