I have always been apprehensive about buying a litter robot due to how many different things I’d hear about them. I didn’t want to fork over $600~$800 for a litter box when to me that price is ridiculous. Had been searching around for a while and came across this one. It checked off all the boxes of features I deemed necessary and nothing that I considered seriously unnecessary. Took about a week to arrive but wasn’t a big deal. Took maybe an hour from start to finish assembling and rearranging a spot for it to stay. Had to look back on the info manual a few times to understand how some of the app features worked but after some trial and error it was simple. I was frustrated at first since it wasn’t auto cycling after my cats used it. After further investigation I found out it was due to it being on carpet and the gravity sensors not activating. I was able to solve the problem by using an old tray from my gerbil cage to place under it for a more flat surface for it to sit on and it started working properly after adding that and resetting the litterbox. Guess my carpet was just a bit too cushy for it as some have reported it working on thinner carpets. After using it for a week now I have to say, it has been a massive game changer for me and my 5 cats!! I have been using top entry boxes for a few years now and using a large litter genie to dispose of the waste. It works but it was a bit tedious and time consuming to do 1-2 times a day and then the roll running out just enough to where I had to throw some good bag away. I love how simple it is to change the litter bags out of this robot collection container. It coming with 2 rolls of bags and an odor pac is also a very nice addition to the purchase to help get you started! Only takes about 20 seconds to change the bag out which is so nice! My cats also don’t track nearly as much litter all over the floor as they did with the old boxes, saving me from vacuuming more. I ended up switching to a lighter litter since my other litter did tend to stick a little due to it’s higher clay content. I now use Tidy cats free n clean and it works wonderfully with this box! No smells from the litter nor the clumps sitting in the bin! Spot cleaning is very simple. I just take some vinegar water and papertowel to it to give it a wipe down and that’s about it. The brush it comes with works great for removing any leftover “crumbs” that may be lingering. Haven’t needed to take the drum out for a deep clean yet since it’s only been a week. Also did I mention that it is SUPER quiet?! You can’t hear it run unless you are standing about 3-4 feet away. I only ever sometimes hear the clumps emptying/dropping into the bin while cycling. None of my cats get scared while it cycles, if anything, they enjoying watching it go lol. Overall this litter robot has been a valuable and wonderful purchase to add to my home. So much so, I am ordering a second one so my cats have another box to use besides just one. If you’re looking for a simple to assemble fair priced litter robot, I can stand by this one with confidence! Hoping it will last for many years to come!

If you have ever wanted to spend hundreds of dollars to watch clean, expensive cat litter get systematically murdered and thrown into the trash, this is the machine for you. I bought this automatic litter box hoping to step into the future of pet care. Instead, I have purchased a malfunctioning, upside-down monument to my own financial ruin. This machine does not clean waste. It does not sift clumps. No, this over-engineered monstrosity spins entirely the wrong way, executing a flawless, tragic flip that dumps entire bags of pristine, unused clumping litter straight into the waste drawer. It turns out the only thing "automatic" about this device is how automatically it drains my bank account, sanity, and cats good health. Let’s talk economics. I don’t know what kind of tax brackets the rest of Amazon's customers are operating in, but I am firmly rooted in the "poor" demographic. Cat litter is practically a luxury commodity at this point. At this rate, it would actually be cheaper for me to fill a box with imported caviar and let my cats poop on that. Watching this machine aggressively discard fresh litter cycle after cycle is causing me a level of financial grief I was entirely unprepared for. It’s not just a cleanliness issue; it’s an active, daily robbery. I am literally paying to dump my money into a plastic bin. To add insult to injury (true injury), the box now remains permanently tipped upside down, looking like a crashed spaceship. Because it is completely inverted, my cats are profoundly confused about where they are supposed to do their #1 and #2 business. They just stand there, staring at this plastic betrayal, trying to solve the architectural geometry of how to poop without falling into the waste bin to their demise. I tried to explain to my feline loves that it’s a high-tech self-cleaning system, but they just looked at me like, "Hey human Mom, we're supposed to bury our business, not perform a Cirque du Soleil routine." This architectural disaster is causing a massive spike in anxiety for everyone under this roof. My cats are stressed out because their bathroom is dangerous and upside down, and I am stressed out because a feline breakdown will result in my rugs/floors becoming the new designated target zone. But wait, it gets actively dangerous! My youngest cat has officially found her new arch-nemesis. Shortly after I finished cleaning this monstrosity of a contraption my kitty went over to use it. Without warning, the machine started flipping which trapped her and crushed her leg. She is now limping pretty severely, and I am completely heartbroken. As if the litter waste and purchase of this litter box wasn't enough of a financial hit, an unexpected vet visit that I absolutely cannot afford is now in my family's immediate future today. This litter box is an emotional nightmare, a hygiene crisis, a physical safety hazard, and a localized economic recession all wrapped into one. Save your money, protect your pets, save your sanity, and just keep scooping by hand or purchase any other automatic litter box than this.

Trust me I hate having to get up or come home from work and have to clean a litter box. I was not expecting to be this size I wasn’t impressed about that but it didn’t mattered. While having this which is a game changer, I don’t even smell anything nor have to be thinking that I would need to clean it. What I’ve realized is that, you’d possibly have to take the trash out every 2-3 days to prevent smelling poo poo each time the robot rotates and that’s okay. Just remove the drawer and remove the bag and tie it then replace it with a new one and bamm!!!! You’re good for another 2-3 days again. I have one cat and this works pretty well than having a manual litter box where you’d have to be scooping multiple times per day. Plus it’s super easy to clean I clean the entire robot once per month which you can in sections because it can be disassembled and reassembled. The litter sand I use is FRESH STEP HEAVY DUTY! Which comes with a sweet fragrance that makes me want to scatter it every where lol. Plus there’s a lot of features on this robot which is a plus. It might scare your cat at first because it moves and get rid of the poop but after a while they will get use to the sound which is very quiet and the absence of their poop. Let me tell you, the first time my cat uses it, and the robot got rid of the poop, my cat spent about an hour searching for his poop, like where did it go lmao. I highly recommend.

I had been thinking about getting an automatic litter box for a while, but many of the popular brands Litter-Robot and Neakasa were just more expensive than I wanted to pay. I decided to give this one a try because it had the features I was looking for without the high price tag. The first thing I noticed was how nice the design is. It feels sturdy, well built, and looks much better than I expected. I really like the open-top design because my cats seem more comfortable with the extra space and easier access. The Invengo App is one of my favorite features. I like being able to control the cleaning cycle, check the status, and manage everything from my phone. I can see how many times my cat went to the litter box in a week, which helps me monitor my cat's health. The automatic cleaning works really well and saves me a lot of time. I no longer have to constantly scoop litter throughout the day, and the large waste drawer means I don’t have to empty it very often. It has made taking care of my cats much easier. I also like that the package comes with useful accessories. It includes two rolls of waste bags (40 bags total), a cleaning brush, an anti-tracking mat, a deodorizing box, and the necessary guides. Having these included was a nice surprise because I didn’t need to buy extra supplies right away. The machine runs pretty quietly, and my cats don’t seem bothered by it at all. One tip I would give is to follow the installation instructions carefully during setup.Pay special attention to avoid installing the legs backwards (correctly install L to L, R to R), and ensure that both bearing caps are installed correctly; do not install only one. I made this mistake before. And I saw other people make the same mistake. I’m really happy with this purchase. It gives me many of the features I wanted from a more expensive automatic litter box but at a much better value. It has saved me time, made cleaning easier, and helped make life with my cats a lot more convenient.

Love this litter pan, except, something went wrong this weekend while we were gone. Received a message on my phone that it was not operating. When we got home, it was stuck in the clean cycle, therefore it was upside down and could not be used by the cats. It was very easy to fix, but I am glad we still had a standby cat pan in the basement! Hoping this was just a fluke. I was planning to order a second one, but now I see that it is no longer available. Will have to try a different brand.

I received the Invengo litter box on April 13, and it’s been working pretty well. It’s MUCH quieter than the Litter Robot 3 we have had for years - we only hear the clumps falling into the drawer , with little to no motor sound. I like the open top because it’s less filthy and easier to clean than the LR3. It’s higher off the ground, so I’ve ordered a pet step to help my 21-pound cat get in and out of it easier. Also when he jumps out, the legs have just enough wiggle that sometimes it moves the whole box back a few cm. The app totally sucks by comparison, though! It’s really basic and you can’t turn off entry notifications so you just get alerts when there’s a problem, like a pinch detection or the bin being full. So…with so many notifications throughout the day, it is REALLY easy to miss the important ones. I ran into some issues with it on April 25, where it got stuck upside down for several hours and I didn’t know because it is in a closet. I have no idea what set it off because it’s on level, wood flooring. There was a smeared clump on the backside of the unit that may have caused it to default, so I set the clumping time for a few minutes longer in hopes that harder clumps will be less likely to get caught along the back edge and smear. UPDATE 4/27: the box keeps getting stuck upside down due to a pinch sensor issue, even on level, wood flooring, with the bin liner properly in place, and the bin fully inserted. I’ve contacted customer support. UPDATE 4/27: I would not really recommend this unit unless you’re home frequently enough to manually reset it. UPDATE 6/19: customer service reached out to me on this platform and offered a refund. They also reached out by email and requested the litter box ID number. Over the course of several days, we emailed back and forth and they determined that I was using too heavy of a litter in the box (Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal - Slide). They advised to use a lighter litter so I switched to tofu and the issue seems to have resolved. Unfortunately, I now have the issue of extreme ammonia smell that I don’t experience with the previous litter. It’s frustrating because they didn’t mention in the ad that this only works with tofu or lightweight litters. Because it started working again, they have cut off all contact and won’t respond to the refund they initially offered. So I’m stuck with a litter box that is quieter, and cleaner, but won’t work with the litter I prefer. It’s a gamble…if you use a lightweight litter it’ll probably be great. UPDATE 8/12: we reconnected and a replacement box was sent. However, the same issues occurred, so Invengo offered another replacement box. I declined and requested a refund and they obliged. My take: I’ve had so many problems with my LR3 over the years, I’ve come to expect that automatic litter boxes are just finicky and that they deal with a lot of filth over the years. That said, it’s way easier than scooping daily, this one is wider for my fat cat, and it’s super quiet. Also, it’s cheap enough at $149 that I won’t be super upset if it doesn’t last forever. I think the pros outweigh the cons, but would love it if Invengo would improve the app so the user can select which type of notifications are sent and which don’t need notifications. I will say…while customer service was delayed at times due to time differences, the tech team tried valiantly to help me to get it working. I ended up, figuring out that due to the way the litter dumps into one particular area of the waste bin, it has a tendency to pile up in one spot and trip the pinch sensors. If you’re willing to check the litter box daily and shake the bin around to even out the waste, it may be worthwhile for you.

Updated to add pictures of 6 month old Maine Coon at 11 pounds for size reference (he didn't like me taking pictures today). Still love this but wish they had it in a larger size as my cat is quickly outgrowing this one. He has room to turn around and squat, but I'm unsure that will not be the case when he hits 20+ pounds (he still loves this box). Advantages: it saves litter; starting my 4th month of using this litter box and finally hitting the bottom of the plastic litter container (35#) with him using the box 3-5 times per day; it is quiet - the shifting of the litter and dropping of the waste is louder than the motor; also you can get regular kitchen trashbags to fit the waste bin (if you run out of the others or want a more economical way to remove the waste). The only con I can think of (other than I wish it was for large cats) is that it occasionally goes off line, but that is when our power goes off and the whole house resets. I am not the a tech savvy person but I have not had problems reconnecting this box to our network (I keep the large laminated instructions nearby, just in case). Bought this in June 2026 for my new maine coone kitten. Love this litter box!!! Not only does it notify me when the cat goes to the bathroom, it tells me when the box needs to be emptied, how long he is in there, and how much he weighs. He is now 9.5 pounds and still loves this litter box with room to grow. A piece of advice...if your cat doesn't want to use the automated box and prefers the regular litter pan, scoop some of their poop and mix it in the litter (don't run the clean cycle until he uses it), this will help them claim it as their own. You may have to put them in there a few more times to encourage them to use it. I learned this from our dog years ago when moving with the military when she didn't want to poop in her new back yard...because it wasn't hers until we put some bagged poop from her walk and put it in the new yard.

I really wanted to like this litter box, but after purchasing two of them and having problems with both, I can no longer recommend this brand. We purchased the first litter box in January, and by June it had already stopped working properly and needed to be replaced. Despite that experience, I purchased another one in May before the first one stopped working , thinking the first was good . Unfortunately, this second litter box is now having serious issues after less than six months as well. The biggest problem is that it randomly stops working, especially after cleaning. I have followed the troubleshooting instructions and rebooted/reset it multiple times, but the same problems continue. The litter box has always been on a hard, flat surface, so that is not the issue. After cleaning, it can stop functioning for HOURS. At one point this was my cats’ only litter box, and they were literally locked out of it for hours because the machine would not operate correctly. An automatic litter box is supposed to make things easier, but this one has caused more stress, extra cleaning, and additional expenses because I cannot rely on it to function properly. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. After having two separate litter boxes purchased months apart develop problems within only a few months, I do not believe this is simply one defective unit. I believe there are reliability issues with the product itself. Customer service has offered troubleshooting and replacement, but at this point I do not want another replacement. I want a refund. I have already given this brand a second chance and experienced problems again. I will be purchasing a different automatic litter box from another company. I would not recommend this product, especially if this will be your cat’s only litter box. An automatic litter box that can malfunction and prevent your cats from accessing it for hours is not something I am willing to depend on again.
