  • It does a good job on....
Okay, I just bought this. It arrived yesterday and it's not hard to put together, but I'm used to doing complex puzzles and things like that, which I enjoy. So for me, it took about 20 minutes to put this together. I don't understand people on here said it took an hour where it's so hard, it's basically 8 screws. Which means 4 on each side and one to hold the litter tray in the back, it clips into place. And then it sits on top of the motor which with the corrugated, um, uh, gear on the outside, all the way around 3 fourths to this. That's what turns it so I don't know why everybody's singing so hard to put together. But at any rate, I bought this, and it does do a very good job of cleaning. It's very thorough and next to the scoopa away litter tray that uses crystals the automatic one which I bought one of those that arrived 3 days before this one, they're both very quiet. My cats came over, they watched it roll. Around and empty itself, because I put some of the litter of the other Literary, the original scoop litter tray into there so that they can kind of get used to it. I am, and then we're trying to integrate them into taking to this one. I'm buying another litter tray within probably next month. If not the end of this month. So, you know, I want to get them integrated on using these things because I cannot keep scooping anymore :( i have severe physical illnesses, and I love my pets. They're emotional support pets, but I just I cannot do this scooping anymore. After years of doing, I just physically cannot keep doing it. Most of my house is automated, so um yeah, yeah, one of them evidently went in the new litter & used it last night & while I was sitting on the couch. I didn't notice till later, the other 2 were kind of thinking about it you know, they've been looking at it, checking it out, stepping inside of it. Sniffing it all over. So I took some advice from someone, I have left uh, original self scoop dirty. I'm letting it get dirty bc cats do like a clean litter tray, same as we want a clean toilet, & if I keep the automated litter box clean, then they'll be more likely to use it regularly. This is going to take some time. I also ordered some litter attractant, so that they will definitely be interested in using the automated literary. This one, this brand the scoop away one that's for another cat, and she uses it fine. So I am working with them, and if they don't, how should I put it integrated over to this new litter tray, then within before the 8th up next month? IF they DON'T ALL USE IT --Then I'm going to box it up and I'm going to send it back, and I'm going to order something else different along with another literary them, having my eye on. But right now it's working out, okay. They're still taking their time with it. I just ordered a little tiny mini step bc I have 2 that are kind of up in age so "it's a little bit high" but for the most part, it's a very good machine understanding now it's only been a couple days.I'll update again later. 0H 1 more thing, just a bit of advice, take the top off. If you ever buy a machine like this and it has a top, take the top off if your cats aren't used to this type of automated thing. So that they're not afraid of it. You know, because not all cats like to be enclosed. If they don't know what's going on. And who might come up on them? And once they get used to it. Hopefully, they will get used to it. Then you can start to gradually, you know put the lid on, but if they're not used to automated monetaries, always take the lid off. You know, you don't have to attach it, just take it off, leave it off for a few weeks, because it takes time. And do put the box by the old box, let the old box get dirty. And you know, just it takes time, it's a patience thing, but since I can only return this up to "thirty days" my pets only get them up that time limit of my patience ;) Update: someone made a comment on here that I read when I first got this about **it smells** It works well, but it smells they were right. If you have multiple cats, you'll have to change the waste bag. I have multiple cats as in more than two. You're going to have to change the bag like every three or four days, because I notice it's full because thankfully, my cats are adapting to this well. And they're using it, and it's filling up quickly. Even though I intend to later today, go buy some scented garbage bags for it.The point being is that you still need to change it more frequently. The more cats you have more frequently you need to change it.But it's still a whole lot better than trying to scrape a litter tray a thousand percent. So i'm saving more litter than I normally would because I have one cat. That's peeing a lot, because she's getting up in age.You know that kidney thing and it's just if you don't scoop every day with a litter tray, you know, more and more of the litter coagulates, and with this i'm saving money on litter. So I don't mind having to change it out.Every three or four days, you know, as long as it's doing its job, I could care less. ... show more

  • Easy, Quiet, and Hassle-Free Litter Box
This is an excellent self-cleaning litter box! Assembly was straightforward—I just followed along with a YouTube video and had it set up in no time. One feature I really appreciate is the adjustable cleaning delay. You can choose how long it waits after your cat uses it before starting the cleaning cycle. I have mine set to 10 minutes so my cat is well out of the way and doesn’t get startled. It’s also impressively quiet. The app is simple and user-friendly, making it easy to control settings without any hassle. Best of all, you’re not locked into buying special bags, litter, or trays like with some other models. It works perfectly with standard small trash bags and any clumping litter, which makes it much more convenient and cost-effective. ... show more

  • SAVE YOUR MONEY SAVE YOUR MONEY
DO NOT WASTE YOUR $! We purchased this litter box twice. The first time, it was leaking before it started incessantly beeping, with the error reading the roller isn’t placed. So it beeped 24/7 and did not work…at all. The roller (drum) was placed out the same as it had since the beginning and shouldn’t be that hard. We’d only had it a few weeks. We got a second unit and within a few weeks…same thing. Incessant beeping, whether it had been used or not, reading the roller isn’t placed (it was I’m always placed just fine and the way you’re supposed to - again, it shouldn’t be that hard to place a plastic drum into the bottom piece). So once again, it just didn’t work. I wrote to the company multiple times, and the only suggestion during these conversations that I thought worked was a firmware update. Unfortunately, it worked for one day only before the beeping and same error. Pee and feces collected, and I would have to scoop multiple times a day, as it all started sticking together like a concrete paste to EVERYTHING and getting in all the nooks and crannies. It was disgusting. My cat would also start peeling on the mat outside the box (NOT underneath it but in front of it) bc the drum would be halfway turned without us knowing (oftentimes at night) so she couldn’t enter. She has NEVER peed outside the box, but now it’s a problem. I would have been better off buying a $5 plastic box for her to use than this messy, non-working, annoying unit. Save your money and exhaustion. Note: I cleaned it thoroughly every 3-5 days (one cat) so that it looked like new (this was fairly time consuming), kept the litter at the recommended level, and scooped any clumps that the unit didn’t catch or that stuck to the inside when it was rolling around (this is a multiple times a day occurrence on its own even if it’s “working). ... show more

  • Excellent product at an affordable price.
My cat loves it. I had trouble getting my teen to clean her cat’s litter box. This was the solution. You can also control from the app if your pet used it or simply run an auto cleaning just in case. It comes with bags, so you don’t have to worry for the first few weeks. Very easy to assemble, clean and keep. It runs smoothly and quietly. We placed it in a corner hallway next to my room and I never hear it. ... show more

  • You can remove the felt lining/tray...
So, I gave it several months before writing this review so I can make sure it's either amaizing or a waste of money. This is not a waste of money, but isn't amazing at the same time. The quality is a sturdy 90% but I am subtracting points because of the cloth tray at the bottom that holds the litter. I recently found out that my 2 cats managed to scratch fine holes in the material which was making the litter get stuck between the material and the bottom. So, to fix this I completely removed the lining (theres a pull tab) and not only did it fix the issue with the litter being stuck, but it made the room smell a lot better. *** You can remove the felt lining/tray and still use the machine without it falling out of the bottom *** I have seen other reviews that say that "the litter falls out of the bottom" after many months of witnessing this issue, I found out that my cats were actually kicking some of the litter out which was making it fall below the barrel and onto the wheels and floor. Overall, I still recommend this product for those who love their pets but still have busy lives outside of the home as ease of use for maintaining a healthy restroom for cats. Its easy to clean the used liter out by removing and replacing the bag in the bin. ... show more

  • So far it works great! Cleans well, easy to set up.
We’ve been using the litter box for 4 days now, so not all that long to be giving it a real review. So far, I really like it! It wasn’t difficult to put together at all. I got a little confused once, but this took less than an hour to put together. My cat was a little skeptical, but she did use it. Once she heard/saw the clean cycle, though, I thought she’d never step foot inside again. She did, eventually, but it took her like 12 hours to trust it again. The clean cycle isn’t as quiet as I hoped. The actual “clumps” dumping into the pan is actually quite loud. I just run the clean cycle with the shower running, or while I dry my hair, or whatever. I make sure the bathroom door is shut so the cat never sees it do it’s thing 😆. So far it doesn’t smell. I can imagine it might if you don’t clean it out enough, but I haven’t had to yet. I’m not sure if there is some sort of indicator to let me know when the drawer needs changed? I’m also not sure how easy it’s going to be to dump out the old litter when it’s time to replace it. All in all, I really like it!! The price of the bags is so worth not having to scoop poop! It seems safe, it does a great job “scooping” the litter, and being able to start the clean cycle from the app is great! Really glad you can turn off automatic cycles, because I don’t think my cat would use this if she saw it doing the actual cleaning cycles. She’s a scaredy cat, though. Oh, and there really aren’t any high sides/front, so if your cat is a big digger/kicker, they will throw litter everywhere out of the front. I’ve put down a mat to catch the litter and just dump it back in. She’s doing it less now than the first few times she used it. It’s not a huge box, more like “medium” maybe. It also looks nice in the bathroom! Overall I really like this thing, especially for the price. Will update if for some reason something goes wrong. For now, I recommend it! ... show more

  • Best reasonable kitty box must have
I was so worried that my cat would freak out with cleaning , she did at first but now it is s no big deal. This also lets you set it where you can clean whenever you want or you can schedule cleaning, I chose to clean whenever I want and when my cat is out of room. Not loud at all when cleaning actually pretty quiet. I thought assembly was easy but I looked at videos first which helps a lot. A couple favorite things first I don’t have to scrap kitty stuff out and there is no smell after it is cleaned out plus my cat makes less of a mess now, I think because she has more room to move about. Just a little note I use clean paws clumping kitty litter and works perfectly for this kitty box ... show more

  • Good, until it isn't
Easy set up and configuration and initially worked very well. Now, 8 months into use we find there are issues. Specifically, the door that houses the waste bag fails to clip into place. The door is 2 pieces screwed together with 15-18 screws around the perimeter. Cat litter gets between the two pieces and jams the lacking mechanism requiring you to take it completely apart to fix it every couple of months. ... show more
