Once you activate the automatic mode, the cat will start self-cleaning as soon as it finishes using the product. The manual mode allows you to control the cleaning process through key operations. How do I maintain it? Will it be as troublesome to use as the traditional cat litter box? The cleaning and maintenance are both very simple. Except for the base, you can wash it directly with water. The base should be wiped and maintained with a damp cloth. The trash cans are cleaned approximately once a week. How to train my cat to use this self-cleaning cat litter box? Place the old litter box alongside. Use manual mode as a regular litter box. Use your cat’s familiar litter for security. Enable auto‑clean once the cat is fully adapted. What kind of cat litter should I use for this automatic cat litter box? We recommend fine‑particle, fast‑clumping litter such as bentonite, tofu and mineral litter. For tofu litter, keep length ≤10mm and diameter ≤1.5mm. Press the clean button after refilling to reset and level the sand. Is there a way I can self-test whether my cat is suitable for this automatic litter box? Check your cat’s body size instead. Measure shoulder width, body length (nose to rump, no tail) and chest girth. Quick cardboard test: Build a 17.5in × ~19.7in inner space. If your cat can enter and turn freely, it fits.
