You need this for your trunk! Don’t get stranded! I bought this to use when traveling and staying with relatives or friends. As with any charger 🔌 with a standard plug, it’s going to take several hours or even overnight to get a good recharge. However, it really beats trying to track down charging stations! This saved me from inconveniencing my relatives because I would’ve had to have someone follow me to a charging station and leave my car unattended for hours. (Not to mention the safety aspect leaving car unattended, even at a “quick charge” station in an unfamiliar town.) This will charge you up enough to get from a relative’s or friend’s house to a quick charge station without worry. You could even plug it in at a convenience store or even a police/fire station in an emergency. I’m sure they would understand and let you use some electricity. It’s easy to use and goes back in the included case/bag. It’s smaller than a carry on! It’s a must have if you own an EV and don’t want to spend $1,000 on the manufacturer brand. (This works on all EV’s except Teslas, but I think there are adapters for that too on Amazon.) I also know it works for Volvo vehicles.

I recently purchased the Asani Level 1 & 2 EV Charger for my Tesla Model Y, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I use this everyday at work and during a 10 hour shift it charges my car anywhere from 40-60 miles. Works great and comes with a nice storage bag. Perfect for regular wall outlets.

Works great with NEMA 6-20 plug type. Cut charging time to about 1/3 of the time. Don’t listen to the reviews that say it will cut the charging time with a normal plug. Only faster using NEMA 6-20.

I've had this for about 6 months now and have had no issues with it. One of those basic items that just needs to work, and it does. My last two residences both had Level 2 chargers in the garage, which was a nice convenience. I moved to a house that doesn't and I don't want to invest in installing one here. Happily, I have a plug-in hybrid (Ford C-Max Energi) that has a very small plug-in battery. So, when I use a Level 2 charger, I'm full in 1.25 hours. This one takes almost 3 hours. So, this solution is a MUCH cheaper and only slightly inconvenient alternative. The other benefit is that it's easy to just throw it into the car if I ever take a trip.
