It puts the high dollar name brand shower heads to shame while giving you good water savings. The hose for the hand held shower has a comfortable length. The spay nozzles are very easy to clean.

Original Review (1 STAR): I was very excited to receive this item but unfortunately, once I opened the box, which wasn't taped shut, I noticed everything looked like it had already been used. There were water stains. I am willing to clean the unit as long as it works. But then I realized at least two of the rubber o-rings and the plumber's tape were missing. And another essential part for attaching the diverter to my shower pipe was missing as well. I also realized the instruction sheet in the box was for a completely different product made by a completely different company. Very strange. I'll be returning. How does this happen and who's responsible for letting it happen? Update (4 STARS): When returning, I was given the option to have a replacement unit sent at no charge. I opted for this and quickly received a brand new unit. Nothing was missing from the replacement unit. The replacement unit worked as advertised and for the inexpensive price, I am satisfied. I've updated my7 review to 4 stars. I will share that the diverter does have a slowly dripping leak from where it connects with my shower pipe, but I can live with that for now. I didn't try using the included plumber's tape so that may fix my leakage issue. As the leakage is very minimal, it doesn't affect my water pressure. I knew this was made from plastic and priced affordably so I'm not going to expect the Ritz when I paid for Days Inn. ;) Also, you can easily remove the water flow restrictor from the diverter which does increase water pressure. Just know that the handheld will become somewhat like a firehose as you will feel the pressure force. I've read there's a restrictor in the 7" showerhead as well but it's not accessible. The diverter's 3-way option works on my unit and gives me the choice of only the 7" showerhead, only the handheld showerhead, or both shower heads simultaneously. I personally don't like choosing to send water through both shower heads simultaneously as this naturally cuts the pressure significantly. I do like the mist option on the 7" showerhead as this gives a very unique experience. I've had no problems switching between any of the spray settings on the large or handheld showerheads. The handheld showerhead fits well into its built-in holder on the diverter and the holder itself turns so that I can easily adjust the vertical angle of the handheld. The large 7" showerhead also is adjustable and I found both to work well; they're not loose so they stay when I make an adjustment to their direction. Note: The whole diverter must be turned when screwing onto your shower pipe, so as with other brands that do not have an independent bolt there is a chance the diverter's ideal alignment with the hose outlet facing down may not match where the diverter ends up once you tighten it to its best fit. For instance, my slow leak might go away if I were to tighten the diverter another quarter or half turn, but then my handheld showerhead outlet on the diverter would be either off to the side or pointing at the ceiling. So, I opted for the slow leak so that I could maintain the outlet facing down. Tip: I also recently purchased the Cleanstream Shower Enema System and I am using its 6' hose instead of the 5' hose that came with the AquaDance. It fits perfectly into the AquaDance diverter. I am also able to easily and quickly switch out the AquaDance handheld showerhead with the Cleanstream nozzle. Both fit perfectly with no leakage. I was also able to fit the AquaDance 7" showerhead onto the 2-way diverter that came with the Cleanstream unit but as the Cleanstream doesn't have a built-in holder for the handheld, I am using the AquaDance diverter.

This is the 3rd time I have purchased this item across the several apartments and homes I have lived in. I have two dogs, so I always end up needing to change the shower head to something with a flexible arm, and I keep coming back to this one every time. The quality, ease of use, shower head options, and overall design cannot be beaten for this price point. This also works great for two people who need to shower at once so that one person isn’t left shivering in the corner. The best feature is the hose arm being able to turn off without shutting off the water, which makes it SO much easier for dog baths. There’s also no loss of water pressure, which is fantastic, and it’s compatible with most water softener attachments. The only potential drawbacks are these: (1) check the length of the hose arm vs the height of your current shower head. If you have a small dog, or if the shower head is too high, the hose arm may not be able to fully reach under your dog to rinse the belly/underside. (2) Depending on the hardness of your water, the shower head may end up showing signs of clogging or buildup after a year or two. This is easily fixable, as you just detach the shower head and clean it as you see fit (I usually use vinegar). If you’re debating, just go ahead and go for it, as you won’t really get better for this price point.

The quality and the design are great. Different brand but surprisingly very similar to what I had. Lightweight. Had all the hardware needed. The only thing I had trouble with was orienting the hose downward. Took a couple of tries to get it started threading and ending in the right orientation. Great value for the money. Adjustments for different settings are easy to use.

The biggest things going for this shower head are the price and the easy install. However, the parts seem cheaply made, the diverter is plastic, not sure how long it will last, but what can you expect for $40? I got it completely installed leak free in about 20 minutes. They even included plumber's tape which was a nice touch. However, they don't tell you until the end of the instructions to ONLY use the plumber's tape for connecting the diverter to the water supply, and nowhere else! Not sure why they didn't tell you this at the beginning! In any case, I used plumber's tape on all connections and it worked out fine.
