I had another iPad case before this one that was much cheaper, but it was too bulky for me and added too much weight. This folio is very light and doesn't add much weight to the iPad. The wake/sleep functionality is also perfect, as is the front cover magnetizing to the back of the iPad during use. This is to be expected since Apple designed this folio specifically to work with these devices. All that said, this folio will absolutely not guard against drop damage. If your iPad is going to get a little more abuse than mine (if kids will use it or if you'll be using it in some rough environments, etc) you may need someone that will offer more protection. But for me, these folios are the best cases.

Let’s be honest, there are $8 copies of this product out there and yes I have tried them and was very disappointed. The $8 version came apart at the seams. So now instead of spending $100 on finding a slim magnetic silicone cover I have spent a total $108 on finding a slim magnetic silicone cover. “Buy once, cry once” definitely applies here. Just go ahead and buy the 1st party option on this one.

Attaches with total ease and looks great. High quality construction and materials as you would expect from Apple. Not much in the way of protection from drops or bumps, but covers the screen and the back of the iPad. Would buy again.

Overall, this is a great product but that's which is what I would expect from apple. The back cover is magnetized and easily attaches to the tablet. The front side also has a small magnetized are that keeps the cover secure to the screen side. When you close the front cover, the iPad is put into sleep mode and then when you open the cover it does wake the tablet back up for ease of use. I also have not noticed any interference with the camera when capturing images and there is not interference with attachment of the pencil either.

A good dust cover, this case will not protect from much else. It is an excellent, low profile, cover which does not add anything bulk wise to the overall profile, but it also will not offer any type of drop protection at all. I also wish there was a way to secure the Apple Pencil. Overall, it’s definitely constructed to apple standards as a nice feeling cover that will protect the screen, just do not ask it to do much else.

This really only protects the front and the back of my device. But its made with great quality materials and works perfect. When you open up the case it will turn on your iPad from the sleep mode. No issues at all and looks/feels perfect.

I have been using the Apple folio for quite some time and am completely happy with it. The sleep feature works as expected and it is a perfect fit for the 12.9 Pro. Will purchase again when this one shows wear.
