Description

The 11" iPad Pro from Apple, updated from the same one you know and love, steps up from its previous 10.5" design and ditches the Home button for a display that's more screen and less bezel. Built with the same Liquid Retina technology found on the iPhone XR, the iPad Pro's 11" display features a 2388 x 1668 resolution, ProMotion technology, wide color and True Tone support, as well as a 600 cd/m2 brightness rating. Performance-wise, Apple has replaced the A10X processor with the A12X Bionic chip. This multi-core processor handles all the computational and graphical processing needed for complicated tasks. In addition, it's paired with a Neural Engine chip for advanced machine learning. With the removal of the Home button which also functioned as the fingerprint sensor, the iPad Pro has opted for Face ID via its front-facing 7MP TrueDepth camera. Lastly, Apple has opted for a USB Type-C connector rather than its traditional Lightning connector for additional features and broader compatibility with other devices. The new iPad Pro has been completely redesigned and packed with Apple's most advanced technology. It will make you rethink what iPad is capable of. With new, intuitive gestures, getting around is simple. The Liquid Retina display goes from edge to edge. A12X Bionic is the smartest, most powerful chip Apple has ever made. It has the Neural Engline, which runs five trillion operations per second and enables advanced machine learning.

  • Brand new
Size: 256GB WiFi + Cellular Color: Silver
I swear this 2018 iPad Pro 11 inch is brand new. It did not come in original packaging but the box was labeled New and it was very well protected in the packaging. The iPad came to life immediately and the display is fantastic. It took over six hours to update to the latest iOS, which also leads me to believe this was a brand new product. I took it to my local T-Mobile store, and the cellular function began working immediately. I couldn’t be happier with the seller and the iPad. ... show more

  • Great product
Size: 64GB WiFi Color: Space Gray
Works great. It has a few light scratches but it is expected since it is from 2018. Battery health is at 93%, so that's great.

  • So far so good…
Size: 64GB WiFi Color: Space Gray
I was very scared of the potential quality of the product when I first ordered it. The various negative reviews that appear at the beginning of the review section tend to do that, however, my experience so far has been a positive one. The package took less than 24 hours to arrive from the seller to my home. The package was neatly wrapped and the tablet came inside a generic brown 12x15x2in box. The package came with the tablet inside a clear plastic foil, which was within another thin plastic clear foil, which was within a bubble wrap. Least to say, there were no bumps caused on the ride here. I opened the package, proceeded to take off the suit or armor the tablet came in, and inspected the goods. Here’s what I found: Positives: - Everything came as advertised (Tablet, charger cable & charger brick.) - The top, side, back, and front of the tablet came unscratched. I put it under various kinds of lighting to see if I could see something, but nothing came up. The screen itself looked virtually brand new, no fingerprints, lint, etc. - Also, the seller went through the liberty of, not only fully resetting the device, but also changing the name of the tablet to my name in the “about” setting in the settings Apple app. Very nice touch. You Negatives: - Paint chipping in the outer lining of the charging port of the tablet. -Minor paint chipping in the lower left corner of the tablet. Side notes (not relating to the tablet itself): - The charging cable and brick were incredibly awful. Both cable and brick felt cheap, Chinese sweatshops could probably pump something better than whatever they sent out to charge the tablet. The ends of the cable are made of plastic, and the cable itself felt like a round zip tie. Not only that, but an empty testicle of mine would still weigh more than the charging brick. But enough appearances, what about the quality of the charging? Well, (roughly) the charging cable+brick was producing a total of 1% every 3-5 minutes. Meaning 12%-20% an hour, or a total of 5-8 and a half hours to charge from 0% to 100%. This was ridiculously slow. I thankfully had another USB-C type charger and an old Apple power brick laying around which incremented the charging to 23%-25% every hour. In summary: Make sure you have another USB-C cable ready to charge your new device. To conclude, th ... show more

  • I was initially nervous about renewed but it's perfect
Size: 64GB WiFi Color: Space Gray
No fancy box, Samsung charger, but perfect iPad. There were some scratches around the charging port from where people obviously fumbled to find the USB-C port (but literally everyone's going to do that, it's what we get for threading a metal plug into a hole surrounded by metal) and that was it. No scratches on the screen, no corner/edge blur/weird coloration/slow responding screen nothing, it's just a very very gently used like-new iPad pro. Battery's great too, Amazon guarantees 80% of total battery life as though I have a real measure for what that means, what I can tell you in practice is, after about 5 hours of watching Netflix while I'm working at full brightness I need to plug in. When I'm drawing on it after about 3 hours, I haven't even thought about the battery. When I'm goofing off with synths in Garageband for and hour or two, I still haven't thought about the battery. If it's only 80% of the overall life, I would have literally no idea. What I'm saying is, I'm sure there are duds, I'm sure Amazon would refund them. I didn't get a dud, I got what is essentially a brand new iPad Pro from 2018 that I will be using for the next ~4 years for my design work, watching TV, browsing the internet, and goofing off with synths. I had a hard time choosing between this and the new iPad Air, and honestly, I don't think either is a bad choice. Overall though, the lesser storage with the more fluid screen mattered to me. I've got a phone with a high refresh rate screen, and it makes everything feel better. Dieter Bohn said in a review of the new iPad Air vs the regular iPad, something like "it's a nicer experience than the regular iPad, and when it comes to devices, whatever feels better to you is what's going to matter over time." and he was right. To me, I'm not working with huge space hungry files so storage isn't a huge concern, and day to day, I will feel better with the faster snappier screen when I'm scrolling through newsfeeds. Overall, if you're debating whether or not to get a new iPad Air, a new Pro, or this one, and the "Renewed" thing is a factor that's scaring you, for real, do not worry, compare them as though this was also "new" ... show more
