On Good Friday, my iPad Pro stopped charging. So, I went out and bought new cords and chargers. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the problem. After running the gambit of mixed emotions (my whole life was on that iPad), I came to Amazon to see if I could find a replacement. After going through everything that was available, I started checking specs and customer reviews. When I got to this iPad and seller, to say I was apprehensive would be an understatement! I have never bought an electronic item that was used, refurbished, or renewed, and to tell the truth, I had never considered one either. This particular iPad Pro was listed as “renewed” in excellent condition, but since it had 1TB of storage and was being sold at such a fantastic price, I decided to give it a try. I had checked out Apple’s website, and a 2022 model with 1TB was selling for $1999 and up. This iPad Pro was a 2020 model and was being sold for $714.95!! So, a HUGE price difference! My iPad was supposed to arrive by Wednesday at 9 pm, but it actually arrived on Tuesday around 11 am! It arrived in a generic brown box, inside an envelope. When I opened the box, the iPad was wrapped in bubble wrap, along with the charger and charging cord. Once I removed the bubble wrap, I could not believe my eyes! This iPad looks basically brand new, just minus the protective plastic covering that is on all new Apple products! After carefully examining this little beauty, I cannot find any scratches, nicks, or blemishes! Not on the screen, not on the cover, not even on the corners!! I feel like I got an excellent deal! I received this iPad from a place called Tech Exchangee, and the next tech item that I need, I will be checking them out before anyone else! Charger: The charger does not work, so you will have to purchase that separately. Screen: There are quite a few scratches, but once you put a screen protector on top, you can not see them anymore. Overall Performance: It does work pretty well and is fast for most general uses like streaming videos and taking notes. I do not know if it works for high performance streaming games or drawing art. Overall, I do think you are getting what you paid for. The iPad works fairly well overall for second hand use. The only issues I have are the battery and charger. I think the battery does drain rather fast when using compared to other models- but it was not so concerning to the point where I felt that I needed to reach out to the seller. And as mentioned previously, my other concern was the charger; the charger does not work and is not from Apple so you will have to purchase that separately or try reaching out to the seller (something I have not done). ... show more

I bought this IPP as a supplement for my piano lessons. When I got it I plugged it in and It did not come on. Through some trial and error I thought the chord was bad. Amazon hooked it up and got me a new chord. Seemed OK then I started having trouble getting it to charge. It would give me the tone and the indicator (lightning in the corner) showed it was. I would come back later and it had not charged. Again fenagle it and it would charge. I called Amazon support and they said switch plugs. Well it worked, so I figured maybe it was a screwy outlet. Nope...same thing. I have to plug and re plug into something else. So it is still screwy. My problem is if it goes completely dead I will have a $800 paper weight. It was summer and I am slam busy and do not have time to screw with things so it gets to 1% and I am having trouble getting it to charge...oh crap!! I did get it to work. I lose 14% power per day just sitting there so every 6 days I have to make sure I charge it. Problem is now I have lost my window and Amazon will not supply any support whatsoever. I feel it is there responsibility to make it right since it has been an issue since day one. So the moral of the story is be on it. If you get a renewed amazon product and you have a gut feeling it is not right trade it out immediately!! Sorry Amazon you missed the mark on this one for me. ... show more

I highly recommend getting a screen protector and a camera protector to avoid any potential cracks. Additionally, it's essential to invest in a decent case to protect your iPad.
