It took me a long time to pull the trigger on buying an iPad and to be honest, I don't like Amazon products (even though this is Amazon certified refurbished; not an Amazon product. Apple did not have any certified refurbished iPads on their site, so it was either pay 499+ for brand new or buy this bad boy. I'm glad I purchased this one. In comparison, it was a STEAL. It immediately updated iPadOS 14.2. It was completely dead when I got it but it charged overnight. The charger is not original so it is a bit slow, but I used it on a nine-hour trip plugged into the USB and I did not lose any charge. No issues running live video. The screen is crystal clear. Its the perfect size for what I wanted to use it for which was reading, podcasts, and some streaming. I like that is has a headphone jack because I don't have to worry about wireless headphones being charged or choosing between charging and apples wired headphones. There is no delay with the operating system, although it took a couple hours to run set up, but I think that is normal. Speakers are loud. There was not a scratch or anything on the iPad when I got it. It was pretty perfect and I'm really happy with my purchase. ... show more

I was surprised that this iPad came with no scratches to the outer body and worked perfectly. The last one I bought thru an Amazon seller (not this one) had an engraving that had been scratched out but I spent a bit more money and got one that was supposedly in better condition. It’s been 2-3 months and it’s actually perfect! I was totally ready to return it if I hadn’t come in good condition but I’m pleasantly surprised. ... show more
