I had a smaller bench, weighted for up to 300lbs. I figured that since I am around 240 that would be fine. I forgot about what happens when I pick up the dumbbells. Haha! And the smaller bench was soon bending and not feeling secure. This one is much sturdier in comparison. It has wide flat feet, which I like because it doesn't slide around easily while in use, like the round feet did. It is slightly longer with a few inches of headrest added. That is always nice. It is adjustable for all my needs and the hooks are secure in every position, The padding is about what you would expect for any home gym bench. The slight curved upper area is good for finding the right support for bench press. The seat is almost 13 inches wide at the widest point and the headrest is only about 7 inches. It is 17 inches off the ground when the bench is flat. I can use it as a squat box at that height. I like that it is easy to reposition and move around my workout area, then tucks out of the way when not in use. I will get a lot of use out of this item!

I got this for my home gym. This thing was easy to assemble since it mostly came pre-assembled. The foot pad and pin locks were the only things I had to put on. Even though I'm 6'1" I didn't feel like I needed the head rest, so I haven't put it on, maybe later on. This bench is solid. Very sturdy, doesn't wobble. I like the color scheme. It's adjustable into various positions. The 660lbs limit is way more than I'll ever need It's hard to find something to critique...but I dislike company logos on products. Because it says 'ApexUp', it's a cool name so it gets a pass. Overall, it's a winner in my books.

Really, really, REALLY like the red 'n black color theme of this workout bench!! Matches in with my red 'n black gym cage perfectly! PU leather style exterior is flawless. Comfortable and supportive. Stitching is spot on intact as well. Zero loose frays or stray strings sticking out anywhere. Frame finish is attractive! Love the kind of mottled grey & black finish. Gives the bench dual tough and regal look. And assembly was a breeze. Practically arrives fully assembled. Only pieces you have to attach are sliding on the foot bar and pads as well as the head support attachment. And after it's assembled, it folds up flat for storage. Super helpful opening up your gym's floor space when the bench is not in use. Minor issues:..... 1 - When folded up, the pin hole for the central pull pin gets covered up, so you have a loose central pull pin. Possibility that could go wondering off. Easy fix with a simple scrunchy style key chain piece or zip ties. You'll figure something out. 2 - The head support. My head support had two problems. First was having the support bars be too long to attach it. I had to pop off the caps at the top of the back support and slide the head support's frame bars inside the back support's to attach and secure it. Not a huge issue, but a road bump to think about and tackle as the directions made no mention of needing to modify like this. Second issue with the head support is that it prevents using the decline position. The head support is nice in extending the bench's rear and supporting your head, however, it winds up making contact with the ground when you put the back support into the decline position. I see this causing long term problems bending the head support frame bars while exercising. Overall, a solid workout bench that comes ready to use straight out of the box! Minor whines and whoas. On the whole, you'll love the look and get a great workout from it. Hope that helps! Enjoy!!

I got this mainly for my husband’s use with his weights at home, but I can also use it. For the inexpensive price this is a surprisingly good workout bench, it was a cinch to assemble and though my husband has all of his tools, only a wrench was needed and that was included in the box. I personally like the red/black colors and pattern, and I don’t really mind the ‘APEXUP’ logo being stamped on it. It’s easy enough to adjust and the pieces are solid, not chintzy like you may assume based upon the price point. We’re able to set up all of the different angles and positions for bench exercises just like the benches at our gym, but it’s always nice to have a full workout spread at home for convenience and privacy – and if space is an issue, you can even collapse this down to store it up against the wall or in a closet, etc. We’re both happy with this bench and definitely recommend it.

This bench only required attaching the headrest and insert the adjustable bars into the slots. One bar is for adjusting the back rest angle, another for hod the foot bar height and 3rd to lock the bench in place when in use. To place the the bench for storage, i simply pull out the middle toggle bolt, pull out backrest flat and then fold the bench in half. The bench can the be hung using the loop attaches to the middle of the bench. I appreciate being able to store the bench on my carport wall rack. This saves space and allows me to easily take the bench to anywhere in the house to use.

This is actually a pretty nice weight bench. I workout at home with dumbbells and this has been very convenient to have. It feels very sturdy, the "leather" seems durable. It was simple to put together. It has lots of different ways you can adjust it. The foot, the head rest and then also the incline. It's not SUPER compact when you fold it up, but it's better than a non folding bench. I'm really happy with it.
