We took the umbrellas on our recent vacation to the beach. They held up in windy conditions (about 15mph wind) and did not break. The chairs fell over a few times but I put our bags in them and had no problems after that. Easy to assemble and provided shade. I didn’t like that it was flimsy and blew a LOT when it was windy BUT it did stay up and did keep us cool in the shade so it did its job. It is very lightweight making it easy to carry with a baby, diaper & soccer bag, and chair LOL. It was easy to use, stayed put and overall worth the money.

I bought the 2 pack grey set and one of the umbrellas was missing a top and some of the unwire seemed bent so the ends popped out of the little umbrella holders. I needed them for the weekend so I took 1 of them up to the lake and it was the perfect umbrella for my beach chair, pontoon boat and the railing of a deck! On the pontoon it withstood the windy conditions and a 9 year old adjusting it a billion times. They completely blocked the sun, yes they are that thick, exactly what I was looking for. I can not drop it off at kohl's instead I need the box to return it to a UPS store, luckily I didn't throw the box away. Annoying but it is what it is. I am waiting for the replacement of the broken one and will update on how that goes. Overall if the other umbrellas wasn't missing the top and didn't have bent wire I would give this set 5 stars. I was really impressed by how sturdy it is and how much it blocked the sun! I would really recommend this umbrella, and did up and down the lake when people asked, it was really sturdy.

Loved having this as a spectator in the summer sun on the tennis courts! Kept me burn free and easily 15 degrees cooler than others sitting by me. It’s easy to carry and pack and stays strong in the wind. Will definitely get another one for the beach. It assembled easily to my camp chair and didn’t budge until I took it down.

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. Overall it’s a good umbrella and has some good qualities. It’s easy to transport, easy to set up, does a decent job of shading about half of one person once you have it optimally set up. The down side is if there is any wind, it has a hard time with it. The first part of our trip, there was a cool, gentle breeze for most of the time. It was blown around a little but mostly stayed in place. I’d have to adjust it occasionally but it was overall nice to have. But the last few hours of our last beach day, the wind picked up some. It’s wasn’t storming or anything extreme but it was loudly flapping constantly and the umbrella was barely hanging on. The flexible joint was bent by the wind and could not actually be positioned. And I had to make sure the clamp was super tight or else it would move. I ended up just taking it down because it was about to blow away and the umbrella part had turned inside out. That being said for the price and ease of transport, it is helpful on non-windy days. I could see me taking this to kids games and attaching it to my folding chairs (if I can find a place) for shade.

This is a quality umbrella that has shaded me from the hot Miami sun on my makeshift catio. I simply loosen the clamp and place it farther down the railing periodically to follow the sun. The clamp is well designed - just remember that the round rubber disc side clamps on the bottom side of the railing.

The media could not be loaded. Cool little umbrella not small not huge . I live in SoCal so not much wind or rain here . However I have this thing attached to my balcony rail for some temporary shade. I've never taken it down and it’s still in great condition. I will say that the threads where you twist the umbrella pole into the base have loosened over time but not enough to make it fly away or anything. This thing really comes in handy and has a nice little matching carry bag. the tilt is adjustable . Very versatile . I do wish it was slightly bigger with a taller pole but it works perfect for a chair and provides adequate shade attached to my balcony rail . It has rained lightly here and the umbrella hasn’t faded or anything. Pretty sturdy. I would definitely recommend

I use these umbrellas for sun protection on portable camp chairs as pictured. They work well enough, providing good shade with a flexible shaft segment that easily tilts. They are light, pretty fragile and in a couple places the seam stitching is spreading-not good. The plastic mounting bracket works well enough on the chair arm rests which are padded. The most MOST annoying aspect of these umbrellas ( I have two) is that the rib tips are short and ribs with little to no pressure on them pop out of the plastic tips and you have to constantly place them back in the tips. That's it. UPDATE: AMMSUN reached out and asked me to provide photos of the issues with the two umbrellas. They were excellent in their contact, format, response, request for clarification re issue with both umbrellas and ultimately a refund. Based on their service response alone, I would confidently purchase from the company again and if I saw a lapse in their QA with a newly purchased product would simply return the items before use.
