I bought the sun shade to cover an existing pergola deck cover that was a bit too sunny during the summer. I was so excited to get it sooner than the estimated delivery date. I quickly found it would have been easier to have two people to put this up, but with a little time and effort, I was able to do it myself. Since there are no instructions included, I suggest first unfolding the entire sun shade and locate the four corner fasteners before putting it up. There was no hardware included to attach the sun shade to my pergola. So, I had to figure out how best to safely secure it. Once I got it squared on the pergola, I was pleased with the instant shade and feel that I got. Since this sun shade will be used seasonally, I wonder how the material will stand up to the blazing hot sun. Time will tell, but for now I am pleased with the sun shade. So let me start off with why such a low rate for something I liked so much. I felt ripped off. I ordered a 12x12 to replace a broken tent. While installing it was short. When we both measured it it was 12x11’2”. It took so much work because the type of tent that we decided to leave it on and not return it. I feel cheated.
