These are perfect for what I wanted them for - which is making mini skillet cookies. They are SMALL, 3.5 inches, but that is exactly the size I was looking for. They are perfectly good quality for cast iron, and do not need to be seasoned before use. First, these are small pans. Very small. In fact so small that you should indeed believe the *written* specs that will tell you they're small pans. There a many 1 star reviews complaining about them being small! Crazy. Second, these are not enameled and it should work on an induction cooktop (full disclosure, I only did a magnet test and indeed a magnet stuck). The Amazon number (ASIN) used to be for a larger enameled cast iron pan. This happens sometimes and this is 100% on Amazon. So just ignore those reviews. Third, these things are exactly what I expected them to be. Tiny cast iron pans. They work exactly as expected. The only thing I have an issue with, which is more comical that anything, is that as of today it says the capacity is 5.3 tons. Tons is a weight, not a capacity so I'm not sure what that is even supposed to mean, not mention that it is absurdly large for the size of the pans. Also, not as egregious, but it also claims "The integrated handle makes it easy to move the cookware around on the stovetop or in and out of the oven." Well, that's a bit over the top. They do have handles but they are very small so when you have an oven mitt on they are not "easy" to move around. I mean, they're fine, but they were clearly just wanted more bullet points and this was the best they could come up with. Whatever. They still do they're job in the way you would expect them to. All good.

I like making egg muffin sandwiches for breakfast and been using little silicone circles for years. I purchased a Lodge mini skillet about a year ago as a novelty, more like decoration piece. Just for fun I tried frying an egg in it. It worked way better than those silly silicone rings even though it’s got words imprinted in it. So I found these on Amazon and I got them to replace all those messy silicone rings. Got really excited to use them for the next batch of sandwiches for the family. But unfortunately was really disappointed because all the eggs stuck to them. Turns out these are way rougher the lodge one even with the engraving on it. So I sanded them smooth with a drill. It only took a couple minutes each then I season them again. I’ve used them many times over a month now and they’ve been working great so far. They are now pretty much nonstick so far and they seem to be getting better the more I use them. Each one holds only one egg which is perfect for egg McMuffin sandwiches or a single cookie. If they had already came smooth they would have been easily a 5 out of 5 stars. But I feel since they are so rough the manufacturer should have smoothed them out before shipping them, in order to ship out a finished product. I don’t think it should not be left to the customer to finish the product for the manufacture. I’ll include pictures for comparison

I got these for frying individual eggs. I already had a nice non stick 4 egg skillet I've had for over a decade and it is still good as day one. But I don't always want to do 4 eggs. Hence these little puppies. I was going to get a lodge if I could find them this small. I live about 15 minutes from the Lodge factory & outlet store so I stopped by there. But I did not get one there because they were more than twice each what these were. And the handles were very short on them - notably shorter than these. I just did not see it being worth it. I like Lodge stuff and I have a LOT of it but those just did not cut it for me. These were a bargain and have longer handles. I like these much better. I have a 5 inch Lodge but it was just a little too big for one egg. These are perfect when you just want to do one egg real quick for a sausage & egg biscuit. The finish on mine was good. I saw some complaints about that but I did not experience any issues with the finish. These are a big thumbs up from me. And I got 4 for less than 2 would have cost me locally.

These were beyond my expectations. I have all cast iron and cast iron with ceramic coating. These give the feel and qualities of an all cast iron but are nice to look at as well and a bit easier to clean. Very heavy. Very nice piece of kitchen equipment. Can't say enough. After purchasing the first one, I got several more.

I obviously didn’t read the description too well or look at the pics too closely. I don’t know what I thought 3 inches meant….3 inches deep? These are way tinier and cuter than I expected and I love it. I fried a couple of quail eggs in them and they ended up being the most delicious eggs I have ever had. Maybe because they were so tiny and cute? You can see how small the pan is in the video where I’m using a small spoon to flip the egg. They came ready to use after a quick rinse and dry so no seasoning process is really needed. Will try baking single-serve deep dish cookies next. Overall, highly recommend.
