The pencils themselves are good and come with a decent selection. However, upon learning more, I now realize I need more colors than these. Pastel blend fine but not together. The general practice is to get as many of these as possible. Sadly, they don’t make a 48 set of these. As a side note, the tin was badly dented(for no reason other than seller was bad, the box was NOT dented). As a result I will likely return them and purchase a larger set. They are worth the money! I like to use these to sketch on canvas instead of HB pencils as they rub off with paint or damp rag. They sharpen well. They are soft but not too soft. This was a great value and I use them with pastels, sketch on canvas and for adult coloring books.
