These pastel pencils are amazing, they have great pigment, I'm trying em to add details to a pastel portrait my only complain is that the tin box doesn't close well, after a couple of days it didn't close anymore and I found the colors all over my bag when I got to the studio from my house, now I close it with tape, it doesn't bother me, just be cautious of that so you don't get broken colors. ... show more

I have been happy with them so far. I thought that because they were fairly hard I would be able to sharpen them with a regular pencil sharpener, and I was not able to do that, but I couldn't do it with other brands either, so maybe it is the sharpener that I have. I have been just sharpening them using a pocket knife, and that seems to work fine. Overall they are good pencils with a nice selection of colors. ... show more
