I was debating on many of the name brand deep fryer, but I wasn't sure if I was going to use it enough or if I needed those fancy ones. but amazon popped out and sure id give it a try at $30? why not, it was 1/2 the price of some of the normal ones and definitely way way cheaper than some of the fancier ones at $100+ . I haven't tested the accuracy of the temperature yet, but overall seems to work pretty well. made some home made potato chips, deep fried some chicken crisp, fish and a bunch others. do wish we can use less oil, but than it wouldn't fried correctly. I also have an air frier, and this comes out way better than an air fried food any day all day . but greasy yes. well what you expect is a deep frier. overall I think its GREAT for the budget, and is overall easy to assemble and use. as well as easy enough to clean. most of the pieces comes apart and able to clean except for the heating element. that's probably the only thing I wish it can be disassembled. so I can clean it better. everything else can easily be clean and the cover works decent. of course after deep frying, the whole house does smell like whatever you deep fried. best to do this on the outside. also one thing is great is that it still on a 120v. some other require a 240v, ... show more

Well thought out. electric cord attaches magnetically, interesting but I guess a safety feature, the heating element disconnectes for easy cleaning allowing you to remove the pan for cleaning. Fryer basket appears a bit flimsey so will treat that with ease/care. Frist time did fried pickles, chicken tenders and french fries. For the price, very pleased. ... show more

This is exactly what we were looking for to replace our fryer that quit. It's super easy to take apart and clean, including the heating element. We don't deep fry a lot because I don't like the smell and the lid on this unit fits on easily and seems to prevent much of that residual odor. I typically pan fry everything that requires a "deep frying"... Hubby suggested a deep fryer and I conceded. My, oh my, game changer! Avocado oil is great for a healthier deep fried treat as its smoke point is 500⁰ and this appliance has a max of 375⁰.

Two units and neither one turns on. Amazon needs to have a talk with manufacturer. A total waste of time and inconvenience. In reality, no star!!!!
