We bought this tablet for my daughter after her last one broke. The package was delivered quickly and on time. Inside was the tablet, case, charging cord, and wall adapter. We upgraded to the newer version that is designed for older kids. This tablet has a much sleeker case but it is still sturdy and protective. Plus she loves the cute colorful design. The battery life is decent but of course will deplete faster when using certain apps. We charge it 3-4 days a week and it charges easily and fast. The table is very lightweight with a screen the perfect size for my daughter to watch movies, read books, or play games. And the headphone jack is ideal when we are on the go. Being able to download apps is also great when we are away and can't always connect to WIFI. Whether connected to the internet or not, all the apps seem to perform faster than her last tablet too. My favorite feature is all the parental controls. Some are set by default but can easily be changed. I love that I can set screen time limits and require a set time amount of something educational be done before the other apps are available. I got this for my 8 year old son. He’s pretty rough on things and it’s been doing amazing, I ordered a tempered class screen protector as well. The battery life is great and I love the stand that it comes with! I can put down time on it so he can’t stay up all night and play it. The tablet itself has a good size screen and works well. The case is very nice but doesn’t offer much protection. For us, it’s enough to make the product worth it but for toddlers a more protective case may be needed. Overall, we are very happy!

Great value for your buck but is not as resilient as the fire 8 for kids. My daughter accidentally spilled a bit of juice over it and the screen was completely ruined. I love the worry free warranty from amazon, she got a new one in two days!

We had the one for younger kids 1st. It was great for him. Now he is older this is what he needed. love the parental controls and features for his age. he cannot use Alexa which is what he needs because he is not able to spell or read yet. He loves to tell Alexa to do searches for him. This is the only issue we have with it. Money will spent. He has dropped it many times and it has had no issues. He is 6yrs. This is a perfect gift for him. We like that it is up to age 12 so we don't need to purchase another one unless it breaks. ... show more

My 7 year old got this for his birthday and didn't put it down for 2 days straight.....like literally. Questionable parenting? Perhaps....Awesome tablet? Yes. The size is spot on. It has a large screen and the picture quality is pretty impressive. Also, it was really easy to set up the parental settings since I have had an Amazon fire tablet before and was able to login to the profile already created previously.
