The third of three of these iPads that I bought, one for each of my sons, one for me to replace the one that I had that was broken. All three worked perfectly. No, they’re no longer supported with new iOS updates, but that hasn’t made any difference other than that we can’t run Artificial intelligence programs on it. None of us care. We use it for Internet, searches, we use it for streaming on YouTube, we use it for email, we use it for Amazon prime streaming, and it works just fine. Don’t pay extra money for a newer version when an older version does everything that you wanted to do and more. Even without the iOS updates, this thing is going to work for a long, long time before it stops connecting with the things we want and we need to replace it. So I got this iPad for my son to just play games on and watch Disney plus. When I first got it, I will first say I was kinda disappointed in the packaging.. it came in just a giant plastic zip lock bag, inside of a box. Nothing else for protection and it also arrived dead.. but none the less, it arrived in good shape. Moving on, I charged it up and let my son play with it and I realized the battery was rapidly dying and it wouldn’t stay charged long. I ALMOST sent it back but my main reason for the review was to let others know what I did to fix this issue instead of sending it back. Googled a few things, went to apple support online.. basically I updated the iPad because it had an update available. Then, I went to the settings and turned off app background refresh, and I just adjusted the brightness and turned anything off that didn’t need to be on and bam, fixed. It stayed charged over night, and he used it all day watching movies in the car while on a trip. Just Incase anyone else comes to have this issue, this may work for you as well! It overheats so bad and so fast, the charger they sent doesn’t work, and the battery dies quick. I’m going to return it because I’m scared it’s going to cause a fire. That’s how hot it gets.

Visibly used. Cannot call out on FaceTime but is able to receive calls. Not able to get software pass the 15.0 update which sucks. However, I purchased this for a first time iPad child who is nine years of age. Contemplating on sending it back due to the fact that he can’t call me from the iPad. Update; we are returning the product. We can’t get the FaceTime to work nor the iMessages. Plus the pad runs slow. It freezes and runs hot as well ... show more
