Easy to put together, I actually put mine together by myself. I unpacked all the boxes and sorted them according to the letters It is spacious I have 10 baby chicks. I love the easy access of the nesting boxes. In hope to keep the predators from digging under I placed some chicken wire down covered with dirt then put the coop on top of it. I will agree that this is made out of cedar but when I put predator resistant in and this chicken coop came up in the search I was excited. However, I was very highly disappointed when I received the coop and realized how small it is and how unprotecting it is. The hardware is generic and any predator can literally even if it’s just a raccoon can rip open the door or the screen because the screen is just stapled on and it’s very flimsy. This will not protect my chickens in any way shape or form. This coop says 8-10 chickens not any chance unless they are bantam hens. ... show more

Easy to put together and perfect for our 6 chickens. I made a few additions to it such as putting wire mesh under it to prevent rodents and predators from digging in. As well as a roof over the run to prevent predators from climbing on the wire mesh and to provide shade on those hot days.
