I'm pretty pleased with this air fryer. It has a pretty generous volume for the price so if you're looking for an affordable, yet decent quality air fryer that can handle family quantities rather than just for 1-3 people, this is a good one. Despite the bigger volume, it's still pretty compact. It'll still take up counter space, but if you use an air fryer as much as I do because of how versatile they are and quicker, superior results compared to the regular oven, then you probably won't mind making the space for it. The first one I was sent had an issue with the basket drawer being loose and the machine not registering that it was in place and wouldn't turn on, but I contacted their customer service to let them know and they had me do a return through Amazon for a replacement that was delivered to me within 2 days, which was more than reasonable. The touchscreen makes it easy to use and though I did look over the instructions before use, if you've used an air fryer before, much of this machine will be familiar and/or intuitive. The 8 presets make it even easier to use if you're cooking some of those more common foods. It says mushroom which is kind of an odd choice rather than just saying vegetable, but it's pretty interchangeable. The square shaped basket is a lot easier to get foods like chicken breasts or filets to fit than round baskets. The nonstick coating and dishwasher safe nature of the removeable parts make cleanup easy, but I'll still probably get disposable parchment or reusable silicone inserts to make it easier and reduce wear on the basket itself. ... show more

This is my first air fryer, so I don't know how this product compares to other brands. As a new user to an air fryer, I found that this air fryer was easy to use (and easy to learn to use). You have preset programs and an easy way to adjust the temperature and time. There is a window, which I found very handy when using it for the first time - just press the light button and look. The 10 preset programs are: French fries, chicken, shrimp, pizza, steak, fish, chicken fillets, cake, bacon, and cookies. The programs have a default temperature and time; the temperature and time range that you can adjust, and whether a reminder (3 buzzes) occurs to indicate that you can shake the basket (for example, for French fries) or that water will be sprayed for crisping (for example, for chicken). They're very handy, though I suggest if you're new to air fryers (like I am) you may want to check the time as I found that my French fries and my roast chicken were done several minutes before the programs completed. Also, the icons aren't as clear as to what the program is (for example, the cookies icon doesn't look like a cookie - I think it's suppose to be a tray of cookies.) I wish that instead of some of these preset programs that there was a preset program for Keep Warm or Defrost. The user manual is in English only. The text is easy to understand, though the English is rough in some spots ("When the buzzer is heard 3 sounds, the set preparation time has elapsed...") Using this air fryer is easy. The basket is large, though I'm not sure you can roast a chicken in it. The size in the interior of the basket is 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" by 4" (the maximum height). Yes, there was a very faint odor the first time I used it, which quickly dissipated. What's missing from this air fryer? Unlike some air fryers, this air fryer does not have a programming mode, so you can't create your own programs. As someone new to air fryers, I don't miss this option. Also, there's no recipes included with this air fryer. That's something I would have liked to have seen. Overall, a nice option. ... show more

This air fryer was a huge upgrade from our last one and I'm really happy with it. For starters, just the look of it is a cut above others I've owned. I love that the screen lights up and gives it a cool tech feel. I do wish this was push button, it's a little tricky to get used to selecting the different modes, but once you get the trick of it you're good to go. The size of this is perfect for our family of three. I previously had a 3 quart and it was just a bit too small, this one is perfect. I really like the different settings for different types of food, we use the chicken nugget setting all the time! It cooks the food perfectly and is also very easy to clean, super happy with this! ... show more

This is our first air fryer. Now I can see what all the hype is about. What a great addition to our kitchen appliances and options for cooking and reheating foods. I don't have anything to compare it to since it is our first, but it is very easy to use and fairly easy to wash. loving the extra wide spacious basket that comes with this model. it's what allows the heat distribution to really evenly cook whatever is inside. the max temperature is 390 degrees, which at first i thought was not enough, but when coupled with the distribution tray and water atomizer, it makes sense to go a little slower and save more of the flavors. the longest programmable time is 60minutes, which again, is probably shorter than some models, but plenty for what this machine can accomplish. the basket is fairly large, the whole thing is around a foot tall. the controls are on top and they are fairly straightforward with some preset functions to choose from. the handle is really easy to grip and the basket is pretty lightweight for something so large. the basket lights up when cooking as to keep a closer eye on progress, that's actually a really cool feature. it's not too loud, but you definitely know when it's running, you will be able to hear it clearly. overall it's a really good air fryer that gives options other models don't. it's large at a decent price point with some really cool features, pretty stoked to add it to the kitchen arsenal ... show more
