I bought it to avoid the hassle of having to turn the light on and off every day. It worked really well. I remember shopping for this kind of stuff at Home Depot a few years ago, but did not find anything. Glad that the business section is sensitive to people's need. As for this one: I liked its simple look, easy installation, and a reasonable price. Just placed another order so that I could change out the one on the side. I cannot even begin to say how happy I am with this purchase. After I purchased my home most of the outdoor lights broke and were entirely mismatched. I saw these and was seriously impressed with the price and the fact that it had a sensor for dusk to dawn so I wouldn’t need to install a timer. We installed three of these lights today in under an hour and as promised they all turned on as the sun started to set. I definitely appreciate how easy it will be to change the bulbs when necessary too. I am so happy with these and hope they last for many years to come! ... show more

This has a smaller base than my last one but I like it much better as it’s petite. Just have paint on hand in case you to fill in the edges. Directions weren’t the easiest but not hard to figure out. Works great so far on my balcony.

Good quality, easy to install if you have some electrical experience (no detailed installation instructions were included). Light bulb is not included and wish it was motion sensored or daylight sensored but I needed an outdoor light fast and this one was delivered quickly.

I purchased 6 of them to update the outside appearance on my house; added a Edison style LED bulb for a classy yet energy efficient look. No more flipping light switches on/off everyday since it has the light sensor built in. Quick and easy to install. Would buy more in the future

I live in an area that gets extremely foggy, especially in the summer months. My previous porch lights lasted a couple of years at best. This lamp seems to be well made. The outside hardware has been coated in rubber and comes with rubber washers that make a decent seal around the bolts. The only downside is that the inside bracket assembly seems a little flimsy compared to old one I removed. Other than that, the thin framing and clear glass panels allow for plenty of light. I added an LED bulb with a motion and dusk/dawn sensor that works very well with this model. ... show more

There was not a sensor with this light. I purchased this light because I thought it was motion detection. The set screws were missing. The electrician was able to use the one from the old fixture. I am disappointed in this light fixture.

Great light! Well made, stylish design that looks nice. Easy to install after a trip to hardware store for longer screws (my only negative). Looks good during day and even better at night! Matched well with our light post. Like the clear glass. Would definitely buy again.
