The media could not be loaded. Using this product cannot be easier or simpler; literally, plug-n-play operation. Soon after unboxing the product and going through the manual/documentation, I plugged the charger on the NEMA 14-50 240v outlet. The console display instructs to plug the connector. After doing so, charging immediately commenced at 40a rating. The product looks and feels very well built and the 25-foot cable is a huge plus to negotiate farther location. Additionally, Huge Shout out to the customer support team for providing prompt and accurate information.

Very well made level 2 home EV charger. It’s hard wired and requires 60 amp breakers. It was fairly easy to install which took about 90 minutes. It was easy to set up once it was installed and the app is very user friendly. It’s a NEMA plug and charges my car well. The design looks great on my garage well. It’s a great price for a level 2 charger. It works great and is compatible with all NEMA cars. I’ve also used it to charge a Tesla with an adapter. The charging cable is 25 feet long and reaches around to get it plugged in

While I have only been using my new AIMILER Level 2 EV Charger for about a week, I am very impressed with its design and how fast it charges my EV. The housing is well constructed and durable. The functions and feature set are intuitive and very useful (especially the status app and timer). In the app, you can fully control the charger, which is ideal if you have time-variable electric rates where you live. The 25-foot charging cable length is great for indoor unit mounting inside an exterior exposed wall of your garage, to charge your EV in the driveway. The charging cable is constructed with 8 AWG wiring, the right size for 50 amps, but still pliable enough to coil easily for quick stowing. The holding cradle is a nice addition as well, since the cap on several of my previous chargers broke off. For this unit, it does come with a dust cap as well, I just looped it around the cable and cable-tied it out of the way (since I am using the cradle). I am currently using it on the full 40-amp setting (on a 50-amp circuit) to charge my Chevy Equinox. Installation was a breeze, especially with the provided mounting bracket. I mounted it adjacent to my old 32-amp charger (also on a separate 50-amp circuit), since both my vehicles are EVs. When I compared the charging rate between chargers, I achieved a charging increase of 14 miles per hour (17 miles per charging hour on the 32-amp vs 31 miles per charging hour on the 40-amp AIMILER Level 2 EV Charger), and a three-hour time reduction as shown in the pics. Since I am on call for my work role, having a super-fast home charger is ideal, as I could arrive home after work and then have to head right back in in a few hours. I highly recommend this charger.

Both the product itself and the app's interface are of exceptional quality. meticulousness in every way. It was simple to set up, install, and use. Depending on the circuit is amperage, the charging pace is as anticipated. I adore that the app allows me to schedule a charging window so that I may use the lowest rates after bed. This charger has been excellent. I get 48 amp charging and have it hardwired on a 60 amp circuit. I used to charge both my Silverado and the EV6 using the nacs adaptor that came with it. When I made an account rather than utilizing the app as a guest, I recently encountered a problem with it. I had to get in touch with Custer service after the charger unplugged from the app. They were really helpful and advised me how to reconnect to the app, which was crazy. This is the charger for you if you require a level 2 home charger that can be hardwired for even faster charging or plugged in. For me, the cord's length was a big benefit. It is a huge benefit to be able to charge at home. I was experiencing a minor problem with the application and an error message appeared on the screen. I have nothing but praise for the customer service personnel. When they could not identify the problem at first, they sent me a new charger without hesitation. After we narrowed it down, the update fixed the bug, and everything has been fine ever since. Excellent charger, however the software needs work. The charger was hooked to enable a maximum 48 amp charge. If you connect the charger to a wall plug, it could be dangerous because it would enable you to set the charge to 48 amps rather than the maximum 40 amps for a wall outlet. The only challenging aspect was mounting the unit on the wall. We had to make some changes because the mounting plate needs to be attached to the charger before trying to hang it on the wall. Very simple to assemble. When you initially connect to the app, it can be a little challenging, but once you are done, it is quite easy to use and explore. My issues with the Hummer EV and the terrible charging timing are resolved by this. This charger is great for the price. It charges quickly, and the app is a useful function. With temperatures ranging from frigid to extremely scorching, it has so far thrived well in the environment. Even though there is an extra step of swiping a card to start charging, I guess it is useful when located outside and accessible to everyone. Since mine is located inside my garage, I bought a simple business card holder and put it right next to the charger. Installation was simple, and the build quality is solid. It charges my car much more quickly than a standard outlet, and the clever app connection makes it very easy to schedule and track charging sessions. Excellent building quality and simplicity of installation. With a 60 amp breaker fitted in our hardwired 50 amp device, pumping current higher than 48 amps should be easier.
