Followup....right toe box began to wrinkle after walking around apt for 3 hours causing right arthritic big toe to hurt as soft faux leather flexed. Also, caused top of both boots to begin wrinkling (toe box too wide for me). In comparing fit to hiking boots my toe did not hurt. Not for me disappointed but still recommend. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on an extra pair of waterproof snow boots and trying many others, returned, I am impressed with these for the price. First, they came in a box not a sealed plastic wrap.They look great on and far more expensive. They appear to be well made and like that they come with a side zipper making it easy to put on and take off. Good quality long laces not those short type that you just barely can close. Thet fit true to size ordering them in a size 10 in Camel. I immediately took them out of the box trying them on with different thick wool socks to judge fit. Perfect. Not tight at all. Description refers to fur lining as black but can clearly see from the photo its white. Boot is fully lined but has no support. Definitely need to put in an orthotic or inner arch/heel support for that. After, tested for fit wearing thick heavy wool socks and still fit well, not tight. The soul is impressive and appears will grip and bite into the snow. They grabbed wooden floor without slippage. Primarily bought to wear on those cold wintry days, sneakers put away, to keep my feet warm using my hiking boots for those snowy rainy days. Now, I can switch off. Looks great under jeans or legging coming up to the ankle without cutting into. I think I finally found a keeper. I would recommend them if looking for value and economical price yet not cheaply made. I have a narrow foot and these with heavy sock fit well with wide toe box. Toes have plenty of wiggle room. Boots are lightweight and faux leather soft. They don't weigh you down when walking. At this value I'm surprised more people haven't purchased.

DESCRIPTION: This is a pair of women's winter boots, size 9 (US) / 40 (EU). (My wife's review): ———————— HOW I USED THEM: Over the winter we have many days when there is a small amount of snow or slush on the ground. These allow me to wear them outdoors and keep my feet dry, as well as suitable to wear inside my destination (stores, church, errands). ———————— PLUS POINTS: 1. I found the boots comfortable, especially with the furry collar around the opening. 2. They are true to size. 3. The boots are marked with the size on a label under the tongue, and the size 40 is impressed in the sole as well. 4. The side zippers are a big help in putting them on and off. I found that once tied, I could just unzip the zipper and slide them off without having to untie them. 5. There is a pull tab at the heel which helps in getting them on. 6. The sole is quite thick, and this allows walking in rain, puddles, and small amounts of slush or snow without getting the uppers wet at all. 7. I can drive the car with no issues. ———————— MINUS POINTS: 1. The laces are way too long, and after tying I had to wrap the extra length once around my ankle. 2. The box is labelled "women's mid calf boots" which is incorrect. These are ankle length. ———————— OVERALL: Very pleased with these boots, excellent value for the money and an essential for snow country. Please note the boots are jet black, I have lightened the contrast in the photo to better show the zipper and details.

The color and texture of these boots were perfect. But I had to send them back because the size ran to small and squished my toes. They don't run in half sizes either. The largest size is an 11 and it fit more like a 10.5.

I work at the hospital and needed some short boots to keep my feet warm and thought these would be good for now. However I was very wrong, these are poorly made and I'm almost 99% certain I received a used pair, because the right shoe came creased. The zipper on the right boot also refuses to stay zipped, they have zero grip, which makes them dangerous on ice or snow and at the hospital, which as you might imagine is both frustrating and annoying considering the cold temperatures right now. And I live in a very cold state. I would definitely not recommend these boots to anyone, not as a hold-over boot or otherwise. Save your money, get a better boot.
