The outlet is getting power and the car is able to charge the car. Wifi reset/Factory Reset: Pull out the charging gun, simultaneously long press the Ⓐ button and time button on the product screen until it shows "WIFI Reset" or "Factory Reset". Then restart the ev charger, then it will charge normally again. What temperatures are safe for operation? My unit shows a temperature of 119F when charging. The Charging temperature can be high if installed in an airtight area or in the summer. The Charging temperature of 185°F is normal. If your charging current is decreased due to the high temperature, you can reset the current again next time.

[Update 6/1/25] I've been using the charger for over 4 months now. My initial review impressions still stand. The charger has been completely reliable. I've had no issues with it at all. I mostly schedule charging using either the app or the buttons on the device to charge overnight to take advantage of my utility company's day/night rate. The app continues to be basic and the historical energy use data doesn't always display correctly. I really wish they could fix that. [Original review 1/18/25] I decided to upgrade from the level 1 charger than was included with my car. After looking at MANY different chargers I decided on this one as my first level 2 charger. NO REGRETS. This charger does everything I could want at a reasonable price. I only use it in my garage and don't intend to travel with it. I've used it most days for over a month, and it's been completely reliable. The build quality is very good and includes wall mounts and a travel bag. I like that the charging rate (amps) is adjustable. My car can handle up to 32A but if I'm not in a rush I charge at 16A. I don't know the science, but I thought it might be easier on the battery to charge at lower rates. I even tried 12A once and that worked fine. Remember that it's your car (not this device) that determines the actual charge rate (up to the max set by this device) and the car will not always charge at the rate you set. For example, as the battery gets closer to full the car will reduce the charging rate. So, don't be surprised if the charging rates vary somewhat. That's by design. I like that it's integrated with the Smart Life app which I've already been using to control other smart devices in my house. The two main uses I was looking for was (1) View real-time charging data and (2) track my energy usage over periods of time. It does those two things to my satisfaction but overall, the app does feel a little basic. I've also noticed that in the "daily" energy use view it can sometimes be missing data for some days. The monthly and yearly views seem to work though. So, the app could use some improvements, but it has all the basics covered. I've been impressed with the customer service from AIMILER. I emailed them before purchase, and they responded within a day or two. I emailed a few more times after purchase, and they again responded quickly with helpful and courteous responses. I was impressed by this given how customer service seems to have degraded so much in general these days. The warranty is also impressive at 3 years. There is a printed card included that tells you to email them at [email protected] and they will extend the warranty an additional 6 months. As long as the company stays around my impression is they will stand behind their product given how they handled my emails but hopefully I'll never need to find out. I've been using this with my 2025 Tesla Model 3 and it's been working great. Setup was pretty straightforward, and the 25-foot cable gives plenty of reach in the garage. Charging speeds are exactly what I'd expect from a 32A Level 2 charger, which is a huge improvement over a standard outlet. I like that you can adjust the amperage directly on the charger or through the app. The screen is easy to read and shows useful information like charging speed and voltage. The included wall mount and cable holder are nice touches and help keep everything organized. As for the app, once connected, it worked fine and I liked being able to monitor charging remotely. Overall, this feels like a solid value compared to some of the more expensive chargers out there. Great, simple EVSE. The app is fairly straightforward and allows me to monitor when charging is done, the bracket for mounting is good, if a little basic, and it comes with a decent cord reel. I also love the amperage selector. I have this fed off a 60 amp subpanel and wanted to normally have it operate at 24 amps, but allow for me to "boost" to 32 when I know nothing on that circuit is doing anything and I need a little faster charging.
